Majors: The process of getting into my major was relatively easy.

Transportation: Transportation is good here. At the beginning of the year, you pay around $90, and you have access to all the buses on campus.

Scholarships: They don’t give out much financial aid and the college isn’t cheap!

Local Atmosphere: Not much to do around here. It requires a lot of travel to find awesome things to do!

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: For the most part, you do not see many people smoking on campus because any kind of drug or alcohol is against the LibertyWay.

2 College Freshman

Diversity: There are some international students and different ethnic backgrounds, but there is not a whole lot of diversity

Facilities: NICE. It is continually expanding and improving i like it!

Facilities: The school has provided me with a complete and high level completion for my major. Liberty is upheld in it's academic standards as well as character standards.
the atmosphere is excellent and a relatively safe place to live and learn. But i do not like how Liberty tends to babysit their students a little. they are adults now, and need to learn from their own mistakes.

Off-Campus Housing: Lynchburg is a great town to live in. It is big enough that there's plenty to do, but it's not such a big city that you get stuck in horrible traffic jams daily. There are a ton of off-campus housing options available within a 15 minute drive, and rent is pretty fair in Lynchburg.

Diversity: Liberty has over 50,000 students from all across the globe.

Facilities: Everything on this campus focuses us on applying biblical principles in our careers as well as our lives in general. We attend chapel services 3 times a week and have optional campus church on Sunday's as well as other churches off-campus that are just as good. All the professors here believe what the Bible says and teach from its perspective in differing fields, whether that's law, science, math, etc.

Local Atmosphere: Lynchburg has some nice places to go to off campus to hang out, but not as much as you would find in cities like Dallas or New York.

Guys & Girls: Liberty has a very diverse group of men and women. Many of the men on campus are involved in some type of athletics. Many of the guys are either southern boys or Canadian. For the most part they are very respectful towards girls. Many of the guys here come from a homeschooling background so it can be hard to get them to open up. They all dress quite well though. The girls are a little different. The girls try to get away with a lot more than guys do especially when it comes to dress code. A lot of them are southern girls who wear cowboy boots and plaid. We have a few Jersey girls too. Overall, it is a very good looking campus.

Diversity: In regards to ethnicity and nationality diversity, Liberty is definitely a melting pot. Liberty represents something like 40 different countries on campus and every race one could imagine. The students here are very accepting of every race and this is demonstrated in how many interracial couples there are on campus. Politically, most people are Conservatives. This is a Christian college and the Christian values are best upheld in a conservative stance in politics. We do have students that represent the LGBT community. Students are all kind and accepting, however homosexuality is not condoned at Liberty. There are clubs and meetings for gay men and women.

Campus Strictness: There are several aspect of the rules that are constant downfalls for most people. Some of these include the dress code, parking, curfew, drinking/drugs, and public displays of attention. Breaking any of the rules pertaining to these topics results in "reps" or "points." The number of reps a person get is dependent on the seriousness of the offense. Examples of this would be: A girl wearing a dress above the knee. Depending on the RA, they may give that girl a warning first. Some RA's would write her up immediately and she would receive 4 reps I believe. Breaking curfew results in only 1 rep. However things such as alcohol or drug use result in a higher number of reps. An abortion results in reps and $500 fine. Once a person has so many reps, they are required to do community service. If that is not completed, or the person continues to receive and outrageous amount of reps, they are dismissed from Liberty. All that said, Liberty is quite strict in many areas.

Off-Campus Housing: Many of the apartments off campus are around 5-10 minutes away. A three bedroom apartment split between 4 people in this area would only cost each person between $250-400 per month in many cases. Also, most the apartments near campus are fairly new and clean. If a person were looking to rent/buy a house near campus, they would also be able to find many quaint houses not far from campus. The biggest downfall to living off campus is the commute. The road system in Lynchburg is somewhat confusing and can take awhile to get used to. Other than that, living off campus is a great alternative to the dorms.

Facilities: That they have exectlly what u need. But you better know how to get around campus.

Facilities: They are a great college! They have some awesom programs to go into. They understand that God is a important thing in your life. They also try to teach you more about God.

5 College Senior

Majors: I feel that Liberty University offers a very wide range of majors. I am currently an online student majoring in Criminal Justice with my AA and I will still remain at the same school for my BS. I am very pleased with all of the major opportunities at Liberty.

5 College Senior

Academics: Liberty University's academics are very easy to understand and complete successfully. I am an online student so I have to study through a computer and course books without the help of an instructor right in front of you and I am able to easily understand the materials and assignments.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: I am an online student so I live in California where I have lived all of my life so there is no place like home and being able to attend an amazing school even if they are on the other side of the United States!!!

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: I am an online student so I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting the campus to see what the housing would be like.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Liberty University is one of the few colleges that uphold and run on Chirstian, Biblical principals. The drug scene on the campus is virtually unseen. If so it is dealt with quickly with appropiate action.
