Drug Safety: Its virtually nonexistent on campus due to a zero tolerance policy enforced by RA's

Guys & Girls: All of students at LU are well dressed and treat eachother and new comers with much respect. They all have atleast one similiar intrest, God. Everyone is very social towards each other and they have plenty of time to hangout and have a good time while still managing to get their schooling done. With there being majority christians at LU, you wont see any "drama" in relationships wether it be a girlfriend, boyfriend, or just between friends and roommates.

Local Atmosphere: Linchburg is a great place with many things to offer. Something is always going on at Liberty University and Linchburg College with all of the intramural, club, and ncaa sports there are. Also, there is a snowless ski resort on the top of liberty mountain open year around. Along with the amazing atmosphere, the people are very friendly and welcoming.

Campus Strictness: School and town are dry. If you are caught with alcohol you are fined and they have "spies" (students) to tell on you if they see you with alcohol.

Campus Dining: LU has a wide variety of healthy and unhealthy food. Lots of good choices but junior and senior year I would live off campus.

1 College Sophomore

Parking: There is never enough parking and off-campus students always struggle to find a spot which can make them late to class. Many people get towed too.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Because the party-scene at LU is much smaller, most people are very fit. However, there can be many rich boys and sheltered boys. But they are good, Godly men.

Campus Strictness: They are mainly strict about parking and towing. They WILL tow you if you pare parked in a spot your not permitted to be at. They are also strict will room checks and will reprimand you for not keeping it tidy. Since it is a Christian university, they strictly forbid drugs, alcohol, pornography, public displays of affection beyond hand holding, and even R rated films. Most of this is tolerated by students though and still enjoy the college experience.

Campus Dining: It doesn't have the best dining options compared to some of the largest colleges, but I have to admit I believe there are very good options. The main dining hall is the Reber-Thomas Dining hall, which is a buffet of several categories of food, the hanger, which is a mini food court, docs diner, which is an on campus diner, the bistro, which is a sandwich shop by the main dining hall, a cafe at Campus North which includes a Chick-fil-A beside it, a new dunkin doughnuts, a sub shop, and other minor venders around campus. You have three different methods of payment including meal swipes, which are one payment for a meal in a few on campus locations, meal points, which act like a gift card for any on campus food vender, and flames cash which are like meal points but accepted in most popular food vendors locally.

Campus Housing: It is not perfect, but definitely a great place to live. There is a wide variety of housing to choose from based on preference of location, cost, and amenities that fit one's desires. There is a ton of construction that does get kind of irritating, but it is for the expansion of Liberty and to make it even better.

Overall Experience: As I seek my degree, it is important to me to have the Christian experience in my education so to find a school that is Christian oriented AND offered an online feature I was ecstatic. If you have questions you can call or chat with a rep online and they always seem to know the answers to even the hardest "What if" questions. The only things that keeps me from giving Liberty an A+ is the cost (but most colleges are expensive now anyway) and the level at which they accepted my transfer credits. I had an associates when I came to Liberty but had to take several classes over (even ones I had A's in!) to qualify for their specific degree completion credits. Overall, I have and will still recommend Liberty to family and friends!

Majors: I am enrolled in Liberty U's on-line Paralegal Studies program. I did not encounter any problems during the enrollment process. I spoke to a enrollment counselor over the telephone one Saturday in May and by June I was taking classes. The enrollment staff keep you up to date and informed, so the process is seamless. Staff are available to answer any questions that you might have. My suggestion for the first-timer is to get a good sense of the curriculum and your program of study, so that you are well informed of what your classes will entail prior to registration.

Academics: The curriculum for every course has a good balance of the subject and the Biblical worldview around the topic. I am a Christian learner, so this is very important to me as I embark on a career path in law.

Academics: The academics at Liberty University have definitely met my expectations. In exploring schools, I considered those programs that I thought would offer me a balance of classes aimed at my discipline, while providing a Christian perspective on the subject. Every course that I have taken at Liberty has given me insight on the subject as well as provided a Biblical worldview of the topic addressed.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: A lot of cars are on campus so sometimes it makes it difficult to find a parking spot close to the dorms.

5 College Junior

Majors: So far so good, I absolutely adore the program that I am embarking.

5 College Junior

Majors: I an estatic about my program. I would love to be a Gospel Artist, I do not have any concernes about finding a job.

5 College Junior

Majors: Yes I plan on having an internship so I can get familiar with my major. I do not have any concerns about finding an internship because Liberty's staff is so helpful it will be a breeze.

5 College Junior

Majors: The process of getting into my major was relatively easy.

Transportation: Transportation is good here. At the beginning of the year, you pay around $90, and you have access to all the buses on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They don’t give out much financial aid and the college isn’t cheap!

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Not much to do around here. It requires a lot of travel to find awesome things to do!

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: For the most part, you do not see many people smoking on campus because any kind of drug or alcohol is against the LibertyWay.

2 College Freshman

Diversity: There are some international students and different ethnic backgrounds, but there is not a whole lot of diversity
