4 College Junior

Drug Safety: LU has a no tolerance policy for drug usage, making drug use on campus pretty minor. This can vary, however, depending on the strictness of your RA, and the friends you hang out with.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: There are many options available, with many different price ranges. Still quite expensive, though, in my opinion.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Despite what one may think, being that LU is a christian university, the student body is very diverse, hailing from all regions of the world.

3 College Junior

Transportation: Transportation is very good, with many buses running at all hours of the day. My only complaint is the stop locations. I am on a major living area on campus, yet there is no direct route between my dorm and the main building for classes. This is a very big oversight and a little frustrating.

Campus Strictness: The school itself is a christian university so there are some obvious things to not do especially in the dorms because if the cops dont find out then your RA's will.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There are many things to do in the school itself but outside of school there are many restaurants and movie theaters to go to that even give students a discount.

5 College Freshman

Computers: They are always available and they have extra rooms to study with groups which helps especially for tests.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: Liberty has a christian enviroment and you will never find the atmosphere at a state college.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: It can be expensive, but its mostly average compared to colleges.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There are many different diversities at Liberty University. You may find International students you gets along with people from the America the school has a lot of diversities, that is something they are excellent in.

4 College Freshman

Computers: The computer lab at Liberty University are always crowded, but a student can come back and finish their work doing late afternoon hours. The internet is fast and people can get in and out. Printing services are good and can get the job done.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I believe that the foundation for education and a christian atmosphere plays a big part. And Liberty is a school that is highly recommended on both parts.

5 College Freshman

Nightlife: Nightlife for students is not really big. There is a curfew of 12 during the week and 12:30 on the weekends. However there is such a thing called Late Night where you sign out and you can go somewhere, but students are not allowed to go to bars or clubs. Therefore, students do not drink or do drugs.

Drug Safety: Liberty University has something called the Liberty Way and it has a list of rules that the students must follow. One of them is no drugs or alcohol, but they won't drug test students. Most of time, they try to spin off a talk about drugs and alcohol based on God and what the Bible says.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: The campus is a great place to be. You can hang out there and feel really safe.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: The use of drugs and alcohol is not present on the campus.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I found the process to be very easy. I am an online student so I just filled out an application online and faxed them my transcripts. I declared my major on the application. Once I was accepted, I registered for classes over the phone with the help of an academic adviser.

Campus Housing: I love living on campus. It is more of "home" to me than where I grew up. I live on Main-Circle campus. I like it a lot, however I am probably moving to East Campus next semester because it has a kitchen, washer and dryer, and your own bathroom for only $100 more. The social atmosphere is great and the love and support from my RAs is wonderful. The only thing is that it is a bit pricey and the girls could keep the bathrooms a bit cleaner.

Campus Dining: The main dining hall has a good variety of choices, however you get tired of eating at the same place. Some of the daily foods include pizza, pasta, burritos, salad bar, cheesburgers, and grilled cheese. You will find variety foods at main dish, and The Wok which is the gluten free station. There are also other places you can eat on campus that count as a meal swipe. My personal favorite is sub connection, which I find better than subway.

Majors: I am satisfied with my education so far. The lectures are very interesting and I receive adequate information. I am a history major and it is fantastic to have teachers who have gained their knowledge from huge professors from the top colleges in America. The workload is not bad at the moment although the work would help me when I am searching for a job or internship. The curriculum is crazy sometimes but it is simple when you get used to it.

4 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Guys and girls are very nice. It is very easy to start conversations and start a friendship.

2 College Senior

Scholarships: I have not been able to really find any scholarships through Liberty or anywhere for that matter. I have applied and applied for many different ones but have yet to receive any so I am not sure that there are really scholarships out there!!!!

Local Atmosphere: Lynchburg, VA is a small city but there's a nice atmosphere. Lynchburg offers a lot history, it also has a lot of outdoor activities like: hiking, canoeing, rock climbing and etc. The scenery is beautiful in all seasons.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: I live in Northern CA so we have many different choices to choose from. I am a full time online student at Liberty and cannot wait to fly there for graduation to see the school campus!!

3 College Senior

Scholarships: It has been good. I'm thankful for all the aid that is available. I have to always check if I'm available for more aid to continue school.
