Majors: I would definitely choose the same program at Liberty. The authors and speakers and professors are excellent. There is not one professor that I've had that I would not joyfully greet if I saw them in person today. Some of the speakers are very well known, and I would enjoy conversing with them as well. I saw some of them at a convention I attended this year and was actually able to speak with some of them.
Being connected with as many avenues as possible will be indispensable in finding a job: LinkdIn, Facebook, the AACC, and the links inside Liberty. However, I believe in divine intervention, and since I am convinced that God told me to choose this major, and has continued to bless my studies, He will find me a position when it comes time for me to have the joy of working with people in counseling.

Majors: The process of admission was almost seamless. The only difficulty I had was the University I transferred from. They did not complete the proper paperwork in time which effected my financial aid. But Liberty worked with me. The only tip I would give to a new student is to keep the communication process open and active. If there is a problem, just call and they will work to resolve it. Overall I am much impressed with the admissions process.

Majors: As a psychology major at Liberty University, I have been exposed to some of the best professors and learning materials out there. After having gone to another University, which I will not mention, where I knew more than the professors, LU has been a breath of fresh air. The use of both secular and religious based materials is of particular importance to me - it makes for a more comprehensive education when learning as many sides of the multi-faceted discipline of psychology. The workload can be heavy at times, but since I am in college to learn, that is to be expected; it just can be a bit too much at times since I work full time to support my family as well.

4 College Junior

Majors: I have had previous internships that I went on my own to find not through school I found it very helpful but you do not get paid and when applying for employment most employers do not look at it as experience.

4 College Junior

Academics: It seemed when searching for a graduate school this school offered man good academic classes. The administrators were of great help when I would as questions of my specific chose of courses.

4 College Junior

Facilities: When I did a search for Christian Colleges there were not many that had the opportunity to continue my education in Criminal Justice and apply the Christian Faith along with it. Libery had a few options for MA degree in Criminal Justice.

Scholarships: I received a good amount of scholarships, wish I received more. They do a good job at showing you ways to find scholarships, but unless you go out of your way and find someone great to help you then you won't get much help. The financial-check in process is a real pain in the but and they ask for large amounts of money at very bad times. I wish their payment plans were better and they were less obnoxious and hard to get a hold of when you need to get a hold of them most. They also are inconsistent because if you send in forms with one person, the other won't see it until it has been processed which can take a while.

Majors: So far I'm very happy with my Business Marketing program. From the classes I've taken and the questions I've asked of peers who are further along in the program, it is a very promising and respectable program. Every teacher in the program has years and years of experience and were some of the most respected figures in their fields. For my career, I plan on being the administrator of my own company that will help a great amount and I know that this will happen because of the connections I have made at this school and the experience and training they will help provide to me. I know that I will be able to find a job soon after my graduation.

Majors: The process for getting into my Business major was very easy! I just had to state my major and enroll into my classes. That's it.

Health & Safety: Liberty is one of the safest places I've ever been! With our own police department, LUPD (who sends out safety text message alerts about weather, intruders on campus, etc.) RA's upholding the rules on campus, cameras located all around campus, and students are able to conceal and carry on campus EXCEPT in academic buildings, while professors (who are all declared Christians) are able to carry in class if they desire to do so. I feel safe with this last reason because I know that if a shooting on campus occurred, it would be immediately stopped by a surrounding citizen. I feel very safe and secure on this campus because of all that the university does to maintain my safety.

Majors: I have not had an internship yet in my schooling, however, I know that there are great internships available at prominent businesses in the Lynchburg area and around the country because of the reputation of Liberty. Because of the Christian values that the students hold, businesses are eager to higher honest business men and women who will be loyal and hardworking assets to their companies. I plan on having an internship this summer that involves helping others and helping to earn money towards my schooling. I do not have any concerns about finding an internship because the offices at Liberty provide great care and opportunities for me as they help me search for internships.

Majors: The major programs are exceptional in the content and core requirements that are set up to prepare a student for graduation. The certifications and apprentice programs are planned well in advance.

Facilities: There is always something entertaining to do on campus, whether it's with facilities or other students. The Tilley Student Center always has something go on, like open Mic Nigth, Campus Series, Art Expo, ect.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Majority of the students on campus are very creative with what they wear. They are very much up to date with fashion. Everyone is friendly, loves to socialize, and be close with professors.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: They show you that they care about every aspect of your life, no matter what your past consists of. They teach you and help you form a biblical foundation and they educate not only on school related topics but also on biblical topics.

3 College Freshman

Parking: I do not have a car but with so many people parking is hard to come by, it can be a hassle for others trying to find a place to park.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I have always felt very safe on campus, and i have never had a reason to be scared.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Yes, it is a strict school but the rules are not that bad just follow them and you will be okay.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I gave this atmosphere a C+ because Liberty University is beautiful and up to 3 miles out from liberty is Beautiful but after that it becomes some what hard to look at. You'll rarely go 3 miles off campus because the Wal-Mart, restaurants, and the mall are not that far away from the campus.

Academics: The professors are very forgiving at this college. They grant grace more times then they probably should but the students aren't complaining.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I absolutely enjoy the program offerings thus far. I really have found a lot of respect for the instructors and the course design. There's a lot of time commitment involved, but I have truly received a lot of personal and professional development from the courses.

2 College Freshman

Academics: The requirements to graduate are very unreasonable to someone who isn't a christian. You have to take 21 hours of bible classes(7 classes) throughout your 4 years at Liberty. That's time you could have graduated and started working on your career.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: The honor code of students uphold a Christian worldview and expects that students will live responsibly as followers of Christ. Yet I believe that many students who come from backgrounds that may not be as strict in such policies or lifestyle will find (with an open mind) the reasons for this viewpoint.

5 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: I think the campus provides a great overall level of security and safety based on academic policies. I believe that a focused and principled academic policy is important.

College Freshman

Facilities: As a Liberty University Online student, I have not personally been able to experience the campus setting yet. The online components are really great, though.
