Majors: I've always known I had a passion for Psychology, but as soon as I started thinking about the real world I quickly realized that we don't have a lot of options after school as far as jobs. At least, not ones that pay very well! I even switched my major to accounting at one point. Fortunately I was drawn back to the psych department because of a financial aid discrepancy. Overall the program is great. I plan on getting into government while I work on my master's and Ph.D, and then opening my own marriage & family therapy practice. Liberty has definitely prepared me for my career goals!

Facilities: All the facilities are amazing. They are state of the art, and if they are not they are definitely in the process of making them great. Everything is very clean and the people are very nice who work there.

College Sophomore

Weather: This does not because I am doing every thing online.

Off-Campus Dining: We have almost any kind of food you could want and almost all of them take "Flames Cash" (money on a school card that can be used for food or gas at Sheetz). We have all of the major fast food restaurants as well as subway, Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden, Texas Road House, Cracker Barrel, Firehouse Subs, Wasabi, Hibachi Buffet, Osaka (Japanese restaurant), Chick-fil-a, etc. We have Chinease, Japanese, American, Italian, homestyle, and health food specialty places. The selection is great. Everything is within a 5 mile radius, most of it is within 2 or 3 miles.

Campus Dining: We really have a huge selection of places to eat on campus. We have a traditional dining hall with a main dish, gluten free buffet, salad bar, sandwich bar, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, desserts, and more. We also have a sub place, Chick-fil-a, sushi, coffe places, burger and chicken places, smoothie place, etc.
The meal plans are pretty great too. We have 3 ways to purchase food on campus and several meal plans, so there is always a plan that fits your class schedule and location on campus.

Academics: While I am only an online student, I can say that the professors are extremely competent in their specific studies and I find it a very enjoyable atmosphere. Each class has at least one professor or instructor and sometimes has two or three additional instructors aiding in grading, putting together the assignments, and overall help with the students. I think the only difference in the online and classroom experience is that we do not see each other face to face. It is easier to concentrate, for me, to be able to work online with the other classmates and teachers. The curriculum is still rigorous and we have deadlines for assignments to be finished, but there is a sense of security and ease knowing you have not only the team of professors at your aide but also the campus itself offers many online tools to help with tutoring, writing assignments, etc. The quality of the material far surpasses that of any other college or school I have considered. Thank you for your time.

Local Atmosphere: I plan on transferring. I do not like this school. But there is tons of things to do here.

Campus Dining: The Rot isn't too great, but other food places are.

Off-Campus Dining: The restaurants around campus and off-campus are fantastic. No having a car makes it a little difficult to eat off-campus, but is definitely worth it.

Athletics: The Athletics at Liberty University are fairly competitive and a great environment.

Campus Strictness: Liberty University had a really safe campus specifically because the rules are so strict and the security force is on top of this. I consider it a good thing.

Weather: The weather is always fluctuating... don't trust it

Off-Campus Dining: There are definitely some good places to eat around campus.

Scholarships: The staff that I spoke with was very helpful in helping with my questions
about financial aid.

Nightlife: Being a Christian university, the nightlife isn't great, but you don't want it to be if you go there. There are other fun events to do, however, besides going out to clubs.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: There are so many fun things to do right on campus! The dorms are smallish, but very clean and nice. The housing process is straightforward. The social atmosphere is awesome, everyone is friendly and plenty of activities makes it easy to get in touch with a group of people.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe. Everyone is extremely friendly and security is always visible in some way. Campus crime is down and a curfew keeps people from wandering around late at night. There is also no alcohol allowed on campus which decreases rowdiness.

Majors: Awesome faculty who is always encouraging personally and academically

Majors: Lots of fields to choose from education to aeronautics

Majors: I love my program, but I am only half way. The last of my classes are the toughest so you may want to ask me again later.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: The application process is easy. The only rough part is when you are caller 47 during registration times because you can be on hold for over two hours. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding issues or questions, they are not afraid to say they don't know and get you to the right place.

Campus Housing: I live in The Circle. I love the community feel. Even though the dorm rooms are small and not the nicest, I love the atmosphere on The Circle.

Campus Dining: The places around campus were better at the beginning of the fall semester. It is getting worse the later it gets into the spring semester. It is easily accessible though, so you cannot complain.

Drug Safety: I am not nieve enough to think there is no drug abuse going on around Liberty, but I have not encountered anyone or heard of anyone abusing drugs here on-campus
