Computers: I Enrolled as an Online Student – I have not had the opportunity as of yet to visit the University Campus. My own computers work just fine and Liberty gives me access beyond all that I need.

Academics: Good Learning Experience – The business major is popular, but as the courses get tougher the classes become less populated as the students drop out which is nice, and the courses are intriguing.

Academics: The professors at Liberty are interested in the subjects they teach. They have good lectures to offer while backing the information up with plenty of experience. They give a good work load and you know what to expect because they all give a syllabus on what the course load will include.

Campus Housing: The housing at LU is expensive, and it will cost about an extra $2000 per year to live on campus then off, but the convenience is invaluable and on campus life gives access to countless activities the University offers.

Drug Safety: I only know what I was told because I attend the online college.

Transportation: I don't know how they are, but a college I have attended on the west coast was crowded and the parking situation was difficult.

Academics: Just Beginning – My program is done primarily online. Admissions representatives were able to suggest which classes to take, and also helped me determine a workload that will work best for me. 4 weeks of my program will require being on campus, so this program is the best option for me since I work full-time.

Academics: There were a wide range of programs to choose from for graduate studies, and registration was very easy. I was contacted by school admissions and they did my application over the phone, and after I had been accepted into the program they were also able to make suggestions of class workload and the order in which to take classes. They even registered me for classes over the phone. All in all, it was very pleasant.

Majors: Online Registration – I began researching Liberty University Online and was contacted by an admissions representative that same day. They answered all of my questions about the program and sent me additional information via email and through the mail. They even did my application for my program right over the phone at no cost to me. After sending a copy of my transcripts to the school, I was quickly accepted into the program and was able to begin registering for classes.

Overall Experience: Just Beginning – I am a newly enrolled graduate student in the Marriage & Family Therapy program through Liberty University Online. The administrators and professors really care about my education and frequently checked in to help me along in the registration process. Unlike other counseling programs, Liberty University takes a faith-based approach to counseling and uses Biblical theology in their counseling methods. This Christian perspective is what drew me to this school & was definitely the right decision for me.

Diversity: Liberty's campus is full of diverse students. There are so many international students as well as students from all over the country. The religious affiliation is mostly Baptist, but it's a Christian school, so that's to be expected. Liberty is the largest Christian school in the nation.

Weather: Rains Quite a Bit – Liberty students often joked that we lived in "Drenchburg" instead of Lynchburg. It would rain at least twice a week if not more. Sunny days were absolutely gorgeous, however, and even on the rainy days everyone still played on the fields outside or enjoyed themselves by engaging in other activities.

Campus Strictness: Rules Are Strict, but It's a Fantastic School – We do have curfew; midnight on weekdays, and 12:30 on weekends. This curfew is to ensure our safety. We are allowed 3 skips for each class, but after the third skip, points get taken away from our final grade. We're paying a lot of money to get such an incredible education, so it's really the least we can to do to show up to class. Dress code is often enforced. Ladies must be aware of the length of their dresses, shorts, and skirts as well as the length of the straps on their tank tops. Men must wear collared shirts, or hoodies, and long pants. The dress code is enforced to represent our beliefs. Liberty University is a wonderful school, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Parking: The parking situation is not too bad. It is hard to find a space sometimes, but the parking spaces are not too far away.

Scholarships: There are a lot of scholarships at Liberty University and it is easy to apply to them. You get some just for applying to the school. You obtain others by submitting simple forms. The financial aid office is very helpful.

Weather: The weather is good most of the time. It can rain and snow, but that is the mountains. The snow is only in the winter and not too bad. The rain is in fall and spring. I stay inside when it gets bad. The summer (and most of fall and spring) are beautiful. The views more than make up for the few days of bad weather. The blue ridge mountains are gorgeous!

Health & Safety: It is a very safe campus and very peaceful. There is nothing really to worry about.

Overall Experience: I absolutely love the campus, the people, the activities they have to offer. I think it's just an amazing college. Even though it's a Christian college, they are very lenient and even the staff are extremely helpful and nice.

Diversity: The campus is very diverse considering theres 12,000 students.

Majors: Just Began – I just registered for classes online. Looking forward to the experience.

Scholarships: Went Well – The process went by smoothly & quickly while I waited to see if I could get aid.

Athletics: Online Student – As a transfer-online student, the only thing I can respond to regarding athletics is that I've seen the excitement and passion from students through webmail and the university's website.

Academics: A Cool Group. I'm in the philosophy major, and everybody is so cool and chill in their own way. Like we all get along and are cool with each other yet it's philosophy, so we're all kind of weird in our own ways too, haha. It's fun.
Philosophy reading is much more difficult then any other area, I'd say. It's not something you can just pick up and get and do an assignment, plus most of our work is reading, so, yeah, it's difficult, but not the worst.
The professors in the philosophy department are awesome! They're so cool and so easy to talk to.

Computers: Crouded During Exams – liberty is really good with computers but its best to try and get to the computers at night during crunch time and exams time it is really important to have your own because then you can use wifi

Off-Campus Dining: I love off campus dinning it's great when you just want to not eat at campus and you want to hang out with friends at a nice place
