Parking: Parking on campus is very simple. The cost isn't terrible and you will always have a spot somewhere. It depends on where you live and what year you are for the spot on campus. A car is not necessary but definitely helpful.

Guys & Girls: There is a great diversity of guys and girls, which is great.

Off-Campus Housing: It seems like everyone moves off campus after they turn 21

Scholarships: I recieved an okay amount, but it still costs more than a public school.

Off-Campus Dining: There is a lot to choose from off campus but the services can sometimes be slow paced since it's so many students that want to migrate to the same locations. The cost for things are fair plus you can use flames cash which is given to you each semester.

Local Atmosphere: The area is mindful of the economic impact of Liberty

Academics: Classes especially online classes are great. It requires a lot of time and work butits is good college education. Resident classes aree top notch, and you will be challenged to understand and pass.

Majors: I am in the psychology program at Liberty and I really enjoy it! My last professor was very smart and she actually got me interested in psycholgy in the first place. I dont think the workload was very bad. There was alot of online homework which I actually liked because it was easy to complete and you just had to manage your time and finish the assignments by the deadline. I have found the curriculum to be very interesting and I am so exciting to continue learning. I am just getting started so I havent been looking for jobs yet, but i have already started looking for internships and I don't think I'll have much of a problem finding something that fits.

Transportation: The transportation at liberty is pretty good! They have buses that run around campus and they have quite a few bus stop locations. The buses run every couple of minutes during the day, but really late at night they take a little longer and run every 15 minutes or so. They also have buses that can take you off campus to Snowflex where you can go tubing, skiing, and snowboarding, and can take you to the mall and a couple other places. The buses are free and are very easy to use and get around with. There is also an airport that is about 10 minutes away but I have never used it to fly in to school.

Computers: I have my own personal computer and printer in my dorm so I have had a very convienient time printing on campus. I have never used the computer lab to print anything since it costs money and i have my own printer. I have used the computer labs at school and I have found them very easy to use and they are in a convienient location if i want to use a computer in between classes. I have had some problems with the Internet connection since Liberty has so many online students and we are all trying to access the same pages. The Internet connection gets really bad on Sunday and Monday nights as everyone is trying to do their online homewrok so I learned to work around this and simply complete my homework at another time. I dont know anyone who doesnt have their own personal computer and I think i would be difficult to go without having one. However I know many people who dont have their own printer and they have gotten along fine without one. But, I do enjoy having my own.

Campus Dining: There is the main dining hall which is called the rot. The rot is buffet style and offers a main dish, a salad, soup, and desert bar, mexican food, pasta and pizza, chinese food, and a couple of other options. They also have breakfast at the rot and you can get their main dish or cereal, bagels, yogurt, and fruit. Right next to the rot is the Bistro. The food at the Bistro is really good and they have sandwiches, pizza, and salad. Behind DeMoss Hall is the Hangar, which has a Pizza Hut, and sells other food and desserts such as smoothies, frozen yogurt, and starbucks. Inside DeMoss Hall is SubConnection, and they have really great subs and wraps. There is also another SubConnection on campus but it is further away. Right next to the Circle dorms is a Dunkin Donuts and you can use meal points and flames cash to buy food and drinks there. Also on campus is a Chick-fl-a where you can also use meal points and flames cash. In addition there are many places off campus where you can use flames cash, such as frozen yogurt and pizza places, TGIFriday's, Golden Corral, and Texas Roadhouse- to name a few. My favorite place to eat on campus would either be the Bistro or SubConnection.

Transportation: There are buses that go all over campus and will take you to or close to the destination you desire. Also there are zip cars for the students to use.

Guys & Girls: Always modest and respectable in dress as well as behavior

Majors: I would definitely choose the same program at Liberty. The authors and speakers and professors are excellent. There is not one professor that I've had that I would not joyfully greet if I saw them in person today. Some of the speakers are very well known, and I would enjoy conversing with them as well. I saw some of them at a convention I attended this year and was actually able to speak with some of them.
Being connected with as many avenues as possible will be indispensable in finding a job: LinkdIn, Facebook, the AACC, and the links inside Liberty. However, I believe in divine intervention, and since I am convinced that God told me to choose this major, and has continued to bless my studies, He will find me a position when it comes time for me to have the joy of working with people in counseling.

Majors: The process of admission was almost seamless. The only difficulty I had was the University I transferred from. They did not complete the proper paperwork in time which effected my financial aid. But Liberty worked with me. The only tip I would give to a new student is to keep the communication process open and active. If there is a problem, just call and they will work to resolve it. Overall I am much impressed with the admissions process.

Majors: As a psychology major at Liberty University, I have been exposed to some of the best professors and learning materials out there. After having gone to another University, which I will not mention, where I knew more than the professors, LU has been a breath of fresh air. The use of both secular and religious based materials is of particular importance to me - it makes for a more comprehensive education when learning as many sides of the multi-faceted discipline of psychology. The workload can be heavy at times, but since I am in college to learn, that is to be expected; it just can be a bit too much at times since I work full time to support my family as well.

4 College Junior

Majors: I have had previous internships that I went on my own to find not through school I found it very helpful but you do not get paid and when applying for employment most employers do not look at it as experience.

4 College Junior

Academics: It seemed when searching for a graduate school this school offered man good academic classes. The administrators were of great help when I would as questions of my specific chose of courses.

4 College Junior

Facilities: When I did a search for Christian Colleges there were not many that had the opportunity to continue my education in Criminal Justice and apply the Christian Faith along with it. Libery had a few options for MA degree in Criminal Justice.

Scholarships: I received a good amount of scholarships, wish I received more. They do a good job at showing you ways to find scholarships, but unless you go out of your way and find someone great to help you then you won't get much help. The financial-check in process is a real pain in the but and they ask for large amounts of money at very bad times. I wish their payment plans were better and they were less obnoxious and hard to get a hold of when you need to get a hold of them most. They also are inconsistent because if you send in forms with one person, the other won't see it until it has been processed which can take a while.

Majors: So far I'm very happy with my Business Marketing program. From the classes I've taken and the questions I've asked of peers who are further along in the program, it is a very promising and respectable program. Every teacher in the program has years and years of experience and were some of the most respected figures in their fields. For my career, I plan on being the administrator of my own company that will help a great amount and I know that this will happen because of the connections I have made at this school and the experience and training they will help provide to me. I know that I will be able to find a job soon after my graduation.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: The process for getting into my Business major was very easy! I just had to state my major and enroll into my classes. That's it.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Liberty is one of the safest places I've ever been! With our own police department, LUPD (who sends out safety text message alerts about weather, intruders on campus, etc.) RA's upholding the rules on campus, cameras located all around campus, and students are able to conceal and carry on campus EXCEPT in academic buildings, while professors (who are all declared Christians) are able to carry in class if they desire to do so. I feel safe with this last reason because I know that if a shooting on campus occurred, it would be immediately stopped by a surrounding citizen. I feel very safe and secure on this campus because of all that the university does to maintain my safety.
