4 College Sophomore

Academics: Very tough and in depth, I suggest taking 4 classes a semester at minimum but no more than 5 , the work load is moderate to heavy, the professors are great and take time to answer my questions, the crriculum is up to date and the facilities are new or nearly new.

Diversity: Liberty University is a Christian University, so there isn't a lot of religious diversity on campus. However, they pride themselves on being open to each and everyone, so I couldn't give them a lower than B grade

3 College Junior

Parking: The university has grown tremendously and continues to grow. There isn't enough parking spaces for all the drivers.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: First of all we have a mighty protection over our campus because of the hand of GOD. Secondly, we have LUPD on campus driving around hourly.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: The Computers on campus are fantastic. So many computers are everywhere and anywhere we need. The WiFi has good access rates.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The academics offered at Liberty are wonderful and the range from every field. Most of the professors are awesome in their knowledge of their subject.

1 College Junior

Campus Strictness: There are a lot of rules and I have heard that people get kicked out if they do not follow the rules, or that they have fines to pay.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Being as there from VA the weather is pretty nice with mild winters and hot summers.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Durg use is not that prevalent due to the schools high moral standards. This is in part, origonating from the fact that they are a chirstan school.

Campus Dining: There are a variety of places to get food on campus, but the dining hall does not offer amazing food. Many times students' bodies have to adjust to the food offered at the dining hall.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: Liberty Universtiy offers many diverse opportunities and facilities. The student center provides students with places to eat, hang out, play, and workout. Liberty University seems to have made campus life as easy and stress-free as possible.

Parking: The parking on Liberty University's campus is notoriously bad. The campus gets full quickly, and is sometimes a headache to drive through and find a parking space in. The worst part of the parking situation, though, is definately the cost for a parking permit. The price is outrageous and should definately be lowered concidering how many students commute.

Local Atmosphere: I love the Christian atmosphere and growing in my relationship with Christ. There are plenty of opportunities to grow. If you're looking to party and not follow a few rules, then this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for change and growth, this is the place to be. People are overly nice and the teachers are wonderful.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: I have had not had any problems with the computers except it is kind of annoying that you get locked out for getting your login password wrong too many times. I understand it is for security purposes, but still.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: I do enjoy the weather on campus. No extreme seasons. Beautiful fall and a beautiful sunset. I am not quite used to the humidity but the lush greenery around campus makes up for it.

2 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: With a large campus comes a greater need for accountability. Because Liberty has a campus of over 20,000 students, it can be difficult to keep the accountability of students under a close radar. I personally gave the student body a C because it is pretty average in regards to academics and even spirituality. I have met male students who are not who they claim to be in Christ; not willing to step up, stand out, or take leadership by the horns. We need more guys who can do that. The ladies are the same in attitude. Many female students that I know are not serious in their relationship with the Lord either and are not willing to take the time to be serious.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Liberty does its best to inform the students of how to be safe on campus and provides escorts if needed.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: This is an amazing school, and they are very dedicated to their mission. They are patient and really take their time trying to connect and explain things to students.

Campus Dining: They have really come out with more options. The dining hall gets old, but now they have a spot for bistro sandwiches, two subconnections, a chickfila, a diner, and a pizza hut, along with a few other spots.

2 College Junior

Parking: All good parking is saved for the off-campus students, so if you live on campus, get ready for alot of walking. Spots fill up quickly for off-campust students too, so show up early for your classes.

5 College Senior

Majors: My online program allows me to work at my own pace and meet deadlines accordingly.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Liberty has a good assortment of Guys and Girls. Liberty is known as a school that has a lot of VERY attractive people. People are from all over so there isn't one type of guy or girl you will see a lot of. BEWARE OF BOYS WITH GUITARS AND BIBLES lol, its the big joke that those guys are creepers. (not true). We have people with southern accents, northern accents, and even a whole lot of canadian accents.

Diversity: Well first off, Liberty is very accepting with most things. It is obvious that Liberty is a very conservative college. However, Liberty accepts mostly anyone. If there is a problem economically, the student advocate office directs you to scholarships. You are free to state your political standpoint, Liberty expresses their beliefs but does not push it on to others in the class setting. As far as ethnicity goes, Liberty is extremely diverse. I for one actually appreciate the fact that Liberty is pretty diverse. Since it is, it adds more culture and talent from different areas of the world on one campus and it really works wonders as a student.

3 College Senior

Campus Dining: I am an off campus student so I do not eat on campus most days. I do enjoy it when I do.

4 College Senior

Scholarships: I received excellent help from the advocate office at Liberty University and had no problem discussing my situation with advisors there. I was not just a name or number but was treated personally each time.
