Parking: A car is not necessary to have at Liberty. They have a really good bus system that takes you anywhere on campus and they also have a few buses that go to Downtown Lynchburg, to Walmart, and a few other places off campus. The university makes it very easy for students with and without cars to get where they need to be.

Drug Safety: Since Liberty is a Christian university, it most definitely enforces its drug and alcohol policy. I know that students off campus partake in alcohol and drugs more than on campus students, simply because it's easier for them to. However, there are some sneaky students who get away with it on campus. If found out about there definitely will be consequences and possibly the chance of being kicked out of school. For these reasons, and just because of personal moral standards, most students don't participate in drug and alcohol use.

Athletics: Students at Liberty get really excited for football season! Everyone goes all out in their paint and bright red. The student section is huge and everyone is super energetic and excited! The other sports here are fun too, but football is definitely the big one. IM sports are really popular as well. A lot of people participate in them and it's a great way to meet a lot of new people.

Parking: Again...online student. I have no idea. Get questions that are suited for online students.

Off-Campus Dining: I attend online so I have no perspective to provide on the local dining options.

Academics: Most of the professors are great and really helpful. Like anywhere else, there are a few that are awful, but most of the time you can avoid them. There are many different areas of studies for you to choose from.

Parking: parking is a pain...but if you want to pay a high price for it you can get pretty good parking.

4 College Junior

Weather: Its a little crazy. It will be warm one day and cold the next...but it is always a surprise! =)

5 College Junior

Academics: Liberty staffs competent, knowledgeable professors who readily share what they know with their students. The textbook selection has been great, the registration process was easy and the workload is manageable for a graduate-level course schedule.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: As a university that is rooted in Christian principles, Liberty has rules that pertain to social behaviors that could potentially cause harm to the student and that are a direct affront to Christian values.

Health & Safety: As an online student, this aspect of Liberty alludes me!

4 College Junior

Academics: I am an online student at Liberty University and it has been a great experience. Technologically, I have been impressed with Blackboard and have experienced no problems. The MA in Theological Studies curriculum is challenging and it has spurred my growth in writing and comprehension.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I came to Liberty University because it is a great Christian college and I love being at a school who loves God and loves people! The professor teach you what you need to know, but also show you love and compassion like Christ does. Great academics here and also great athletics!

Facilities: The Christian atmosphere that Liberty creates is one of the main things that drew me to the school. Liberty works hard to uphold the Christian standards that were set when the school began.

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: The food is not horrible but could use some improvements

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: It isn't that bad. I love living off campus do to the expenses compare to on-campus living. But parking on campus for class do get the best of me.

4 College Senior

Computers: The computer systems at school are pretty good. Although sometimes we do have IT probablems, the computers are pretty durable.

1 College Senior

Parking: I hate parking on campus but it could be a lot worse. I wish we had two car garague.

Scholarships: Finachial aid at my school is pretty helpful for the most part. They try to look out for the students needs. I know that if it wasn't for some of the employees that work within the aid office I probably would still be attending college today. I wish though, that they send students a note stating if we had probablems right there and then. Sometimes they wont send something until two weeks go by.

5 College Junior

Scholarships: Liberty does a great job keeping in touch via email concerning the additional information they needed for financial aid.

3 College Senior

Computers: You can easily get to work on assignments without having to drag a computer around. There plenty of computers at LU, Windows and Mac...However, if you want to bring your laptop with you to the labs, they have WiFi, outlets, notebook counters, and study carrels.

Transportation: Liberty University Transit Services transportation is designed to make the campus and the community accessible to students, faculty, and staff, while reducing the dependency on single occupancy vehicles. They provide intra-campus transit system, a carpool program with park & ride and satellite parking programs, airport/train/bus station shuttle services, and partnerships with apartment communities to bring improved transportation service options to commuters. They also offer off-campus and charter services.

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe on Liberty's campus, as a student or as an employee. It is a beautiful, safe place to be with a pretty decent amount of campus security. There are some places that aren't as well lit as others. However, being a northern girl I never chose to be naive and walk through tunnels or on-campus alone in the dark. You should be wise in an any atmosphere...Christian or not.

Majors: As an adult on line Master of Divinity student I am very pleased with the training here at Liberty University. I believe in Bible based training and am sure this is adequate in preparation for full time ministry.

5 College Junior

Majors: As a counseling major I am impressed with the program. I thought it would be a strictly Christian based program, but Liberty has great teachers who know all sides of the spectrum and the course material represents multiple viewpoints. I think Liberty has a great program.
