3 College Junior

Majors: My degree does require an internship so I do plan on doing one. I do have concerns because I am not currently working in the field of the degree I am pursuing. I am not sure if I will be able to find a scholarship because of my lack of experience.

5 College Junior

Majors: I do enjoy being in the counseling program. The things I've learned are valuable for me. The program is very well rounded. The program helps you to incorporate faith into practice, the professors and still really care for you and the campus itself is beautiful. I do an online course so but I had one course where I was there for a week.

Majors: I enjoy being at Liberty. It is a program designed to help incorporate my faith into everyday practice and they are very good at helping us grow in that way. If I had to do it again, I would. My desire is to become a professional counselor in the Hackensack NJ and be a resource to churches and those who may not normally be able to afford counseling. My major concern about finding a job is ensuring I get the experience I need to be qualified for different job opportunities. I am still very new to the field.

Weather: During winter, the snow can be annoying with getting to class, especially when it does not get cancelled.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The Education program is really great. The teachers are so helpful. I am enrolled in an online degree program, and we have 3 classes where we physically have to be on campus. It's great that online students can still benefit from the face to face interaction.

Guys & Girls: The Fine Breed of Snow Bunnies are in existence at Liberty. But rarely do you see anyone at Liberty with actual style, when you do you will definitely notice. Also don't look for girls with tight revealing clothing no leggings and cleavage guards all day even for the trainees. I haven't got a clue why all the white guys just have to wear button downs with long sleeves just to roll the sleeves up. It wouldn't be a problem if 9/10 people didn't do it, but it isn't that way!

Scholarships: Liberty's financial aid department have answered all questions that I inquired about so far, and they have been a pleasure to deal with.

College Junior

Majors: I haven't started an internship yet though it is required that i complete 125 hours. I have no concerns and look forward to completing my degree and then obtaining my masters.

Parking: Parking in unbelievable here on campus. Because freshman are allowed to bring cars there are to many cars and not enough spaces. If you work late or have a late class you can expect to have to park at the bottom of the pit which is at least a ten minute walk back to the dorms.

Academics: I'm still a freshman at LU so I haven't gotten into any of my core classes for my major yet, though I'm told that Liberty's School of Business is one of the best. As a freshman though taking all of the required entry level courses the work load is not bad and the professors are great.

Academics: The academics here at Liberty are more then I could have hoped for. The diversity is amazing, and the professors are so passionate about what they teach. Nothing here at Liberty academically speaking is sub-par. One of the main reasons I chose Liberty was because it was a Christian university, I consider it such a privilege to go where professors can freely talk about Christ and open every class with prayer.

Campus Housing: I gave on-campus living a C because for the most part, I like it. Living on the main part of campus is very social and walking to and from class is quite easy. The dorms are quite small for three people to be living in and most of the dorms are very old and could use some help. Along with that, room and board is upwards of 4,000 dollars per semester; for the quality of the food on campus and the quality of the living spaces that is obscene.

Computers: WiFi connection is good. Computers are very accessible

2 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: Most stores and dining places are uninteresting and normally show a B for last inspections these are in the town of Middlesboro KY

3 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: Most people are very outgoing and friendly dress is business like and at times casual. Social life is no-existent. Relationships are scarce

Local Atmosphere: There is not much to do around campus and the people in the community are very user unfriendly towards campus students...

Off-Campus Dining: I give an A for variety and selection. There are numerous restaurants just off-campus and many will take Flames Cash.

Overall Experience: When I originally came to LU, I was concerned that the academics were not rigorous enough or up-to-par with other institutions. I am now a student of the mathematics department, and my views have changed drastically. Liberty's interim report was recently accepted by its accrediting agency with "no additional reporting required" (http://www.liberty.edu/news/index.cfm?PID=18495&MID=63380). This is a huge accomplishment for our school, and I can truly say I am proud to call myself a Liberty student.

In addition to the proven academic excellence of this institution, the professors are, on a personal level, very encouraging--both in and out of class. In general, the faculty deeply care about the students they teach.

4 College Junior

Majors: So, so many choices of majors with a new medical school in the offing as well as a new conservatory of music. My professors in the psychology field are knowledgeable, interesting, and supportive. Internships are available but I'm not involved in that yet.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: Campus security is excellent and can be easily contacted. There is a campus wide emergency notification system by text in place.

3 College Junior

Parking: Because there are so many people on campus and it can be difficult at times to find parking, I have chosen not to bring my car this year.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: My dorm isn't especially attractive from the outside but is clean, in good repair, not too crowded, and the friendships I havae made so far on my floor are terrific. We genuinely enjoy each other and people are very respectful! I chose the dorm price I wanted and had no trouble getting what I asked for.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: I feel every campus can do better with their security.

5 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: Varsity sports are readily accessible and students take pride in their team. The newly built stadium is absolutely striking and a wonderful place to go.
