5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: The on-campus life sucks compared to the off-campus life because of the freedom that can be gained from leaving campus its also less expensive than living on campus is. The only caveat is you have to be married or 21 if you want to live off campus.

Drug Safety: Its more frowned on than on other campuses, but students do sneak and participate in drinking as well as drugs.

Local Atmosphere: The local area is friendly toward students but, is painfully uneventful with very little to do.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: There are alot of options for campus housing with options that are both right next to classes as well as far away from classes but with added amenities.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food here is good the only issue is that the main (and really the only one on main campus) dining hall closes at 7 or 8pm weekly making it hard to find a late night meal at times.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The school has quite a few inhouse scholarships that most if not all students can apply for that help out alot.

1 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There are hardly any parties available also if you do happen to find one and go to it you could run into issues with the schools strict rules regarding drinking, dancing, and curfew.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Racially and ethnically you will find someone from everywhere, but as for politically, religiously, and sexual orientation there is little to no diversity.

Transportation: Not the best, but it will get you around the area if you are trying to get somewhere. Although it is quite hard to get out of the area without a car a friend with a car.

College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Online. Virginia and Arkansas are completely different I would imagine.

Facilities: The last school I went to was a community college and you would think that they would try to take care of you but since I have been at LU I have realized the difference between the two by a long shot. Also, University work loads are a lot heavier in case any unsuspecting person didn't know. Not a complaint of mine but there is a difference.

College Junior

Athletics: Not really sure yet again. Online student.

College Junior

Diversity: I would not be the best one to ask. Online student.

College Junior

Campus Dining: Online student, but my wife's cooking is pretty good.

Overall Experience: back to the question above. I wish I would have enrolled while I was in the military a year ago so I could have had this change in my life that God has brought about through Liberty U!

College Junior

Weather: Online student so my viewpoint from bootstrap AR would not be relevant

4 College Junior

Majors: I like my professors and the school work is interesting which is actually surprising for it being online work.

College Junior

Majors: I haven't had one yet.

Facilities: A LOT OF EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Drug Safety: DON'T KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT IT

Campus Housing: The worst option a student can make is living on the Annex which can consist of roaches and not be very sanitary. The best option is living on the hill because it puts you in the middle of everything on campus and it will make students time very convenient and help them out a lot. Liberty University has a great social atmosphere and people can be very nice and helpful, as the semester starts to drift away many people stop talking and stop becoming very welcoming which can be a nuisance. The cost of the dorms is outrageous and very hard for me as a student to afford it because it is more expensive to live on campus than it is to live off. The convenience it very doable and helps students. The housing process is a help to students and actually is very helpful to parents as well.

Off-Campus Housing: The availability for off campus fills up fast, and it can be very difficult to try to move off campus because Liberty University wants you to live on campus all for years of your education. Many of the apartment secretaries do not answer their phones and at times are not good at answering question and willing to help you out when you are in a time of need. The convenience to reliable but however could be much better, the buses are sometime late and sometimes too early it can be hard to plan your schedule around the buses because it becomes hard for me not on time for class and knowing I can not afford a car can be very frustrating.

Athletics: Team performance is very important at Liberty University but they do not tell people to become involved, you have to be able to step out of your comfort zone and involve yourself. Fan support is good but it could be stronger, not many people come to see their team compete and it does not seem as if many people care. School spirit for football it very good but for other intramural sports it is not as good as football season. Athletic facilities seem to do there job and help people whenever someone needs them and they are very organized.
