Athletics: school spirit is high, especially on flyer red Friday when you are encouraged to wear Lewis apparel or red...you can even win a gift card to the bookstore if you are the lucky one caught wearing red/Lewis gear

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Can always spot a security guard/car, helpful

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: As an undergrad I got $10,000 off my tuition for good grades in high school

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Somewhat of a drive to local businesses

4 College Freshman

Weather: Chicagoland area, all 4 seasons

4 College Freshman

Computers: free printing, a variety of computer labs in different areas of the school campus, tech support

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Live on campus, never looked off campus.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Campus security has a presence but not overbearing. Helpful

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Dorm hallways have been vandalized over weekends. Noise in the freshman dorms are intolerable some nights.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Nursing facilities are fairly new. Science wing is new. We have our own airport, that supports small commuter planes and private planes. Flight school and mechanics school is awesome.

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I did not pledge, but a friend did, let's say, we are not really friends anymore. She got in trouble for sitting with me at lunch one day, because I am not pledging.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: dorms are average size, some are new, some are very old and need major updating. I have only stayed in the new facilities. Micro/fridge comes in the dorm. Wardrobe and dresser are nice size. Housing process is easy. Study areas are nice, community TV, Game rooms in some.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Have to drive, Morton Arboretum is close, Skating, shopping are a short distance

1 College Sophomore

Transportation: There is no transportation on campus

4 College Junior

Athletics: Athletes are recognized but not as they would be in a bigger school

2 College Junior

Academics: Science majors have it rough

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Shopping is very close. Safety in regards to the school, well the police department always let's is know if there is any problems which I like but around that area it is not safe since we are off a main road

College Junior

Nightlife: I don't ever year much of parties there so I wouldn't know what to say about them

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There is no apartment complexes around there. The nearest would be about 20 minutes away.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There aren't many places near by except for a few fast food places, but maybe a 20 minute drive and there is more options available.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: The diversity on campus is great. People are very accepting of others and not judgmental of others.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I am planning on majoring in radiography and I did not realize what I was getting myself into when I declared the major. Lewis offers a 3-1 program where you spend 3 years at Lewis and then apply to Northwestern to get into the program, and IF accepted you finish your last year there. The program jam packs your schedule with 6 classes a semester and also is extremely competitive. Only 10 students are accepted each year into the program and they are chosen from 4 different schools.
