4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I love how they are easy to access, I just wish there were notices when students from other schools are using the pool during hours its suppose to be open.

Campus Housing: The dorm sizes are alright, they are not the biggest. The Social atmosphere is pretty great, there were spaces for everyone to hangout at and get to know each other. Cost is over priced for the dorm rooms we get depending on where you live. the distance from classes to my room is great and easy. housing process is easy expect for moving around when you experience problems during the year or are trying to get a certain roommate.

Local Atmosphere: It is not what I am use to only because I am from the city. However, for a school that is surrounded by corn fields it has a lot of shopping, restaurants, and night life for the little town it is near.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Strictness on alcohol is strict nothing gets in, however drug use is suppose to be strict but I haven't seen much on it. policies I think are improving the students academics and social lives.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The security is good, around 24/7, never had an issue. I feel very protected on campus, special measures are taken during some days but most day the protection they provide is more then enough.

Nightlife: Many parties happen off campus at Athletic teams houses. There not any huge parties only moderate ones that's get slightly more crowded around holidays like Halloween, Christmas and St. Patrick's Day. I think it has a negative effect on the student body because my dorm hall was vandalized because students came back from a party drunk.

Off-Campus Dining: Most of the off-campus dining is Subway, Jimmy John's, McDonalds, and any other chain restaurants. There are options but the same as anywhere else.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: At first I wasn't clear on the kind of financial aid I was given, and not many people were making it clearer. However, it was eventually cleared up and everything was sorted and now I understand what was going on.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I wouldn't be able to say.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The variety in our menus could be better because in Charlie's Place we have the same options for lunch and it gets annoying. The prices for the dinning areas could be lowered a little. Many meals aren't even that good yet we are paying a high amount for it.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: There is not much Greek activity on campus, a lot of it is low-key. You only go if you are a Greek or interested in becoming one. other activities that are for all of campus held by Greeks are usually good, but the only people going are the Greeks, friends of Greeks and that's it.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: The diversity on my campus is low. Many students are open to other cultures. There are no problems, that I have seen, with accepting new cultures on campus. Around campus everyone is accepted and have their own group of friends that usually consisting of at least two racially different people. Religious beliefs are respected, no matter what beliefs someone has, but the main religion on campus is Catholic. Sexual orientation, is not a huge thing on campus, there are gays and bisexuals but no conflict over it.

Academics: Lewis University offers many different majors, however, what they are known for is nursing and aviation. The curriculum is great they are structured to give you all the skills the careers requires and more. Workloads for majors are usually light the general education classes are the ones that give the most work. Usual days only general education classes give homework. Registration process is relatively easy, straight forward. The only problem I experienced was the explanation for my tuition, was not explained clearly.

Academics: My specific major is Aviation Administration, and its great. In my major you get hands on with the business aspects in the aviation field. The workload is light and curriculum is built around the structure the FAA made. That way as soon as you graduate from Lewis University you will have a the requirements and skills that the FAA is looking for, making looking for a job easier.

Health & Safety: the campus police are there if you need them and so are the campus security.

College Senior

Academics: Every class and teacher is different, and everyone experiences different outcomes.

4 College Senior

Academics: I love my major because i have so much freedom in it. i can start a tv or radio show at any time, edit whenever i please and work for the tv or radio station and receive a stipend for it.

3 College Senior

Athletics: the students really get involved in cheering for basketball and volleyball the most. there is a club called flyer nation who specially go to games and root for the team

College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: I have never lived off campus so i am not able to provide any information on it.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There are many popular restaurants off campus. you wont find many unpopular ones.

3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: this campus is not that strict on the little things, but they are strict on underage drinking and drugs.

4 College Senior

Diversity: this campus is very accepting of all religions and ethnicity.

4 College Senior

Majors: I am a radio/tv broadcasting major and i have been doing a lot of hands on training ever since my freshman year. As soon as you get there they put you to work instead of not letting you touch the equipment. I have started my own TV shows, radio shows and newscast over the course of 3 years.

3 College Senior

Majors: i have a internship off campus and it is okay. the school will help you find one if you can't find one. every internship is different and they all vary.

4 College Senior

Facilities: The student rec is a great building that offers a lot of work out classes. The library has went under renovations and has more up to date software and computers, also our common grounds area has added more computers and a printer that is away from the library. Our university green is the best place to sit outside when it's nice or even play football or LARP.
