3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Getting the proper amount of financial aid is a struggle, because most of Lenoir Rhyne students are in debt because of the amount of loans they have to apply for. I can say I understand the struggle because I have filled out approximately 100 scholarships and I still need more money to be able to attend in the Fall.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Had some issues with getting a scholarship lost, but no other problems.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: They offer you quite a bit of money for doing well in high school. Also if you do well enough in high school you can be invited to a scholarship day during your senior year. During the scholarship day you compete for full, three quarters, and other scholarships. Since the school is private the price of tuition and room and board is expensive. I had a great deal of difficulty getting all the money together that I needed for school, but ended up getting everything paid for.

1 College Freshman

Scholarships: They did not explain the financial aid packet well. Other than my sister and myself we are the ones who are going to college. When my mother went to college things were different and she could not explain it to me. I almost lost my financial aid. I was able to get it but I got less than what I would have gotten. I had something incomplete of my packet that I was not aware of or told about until the end of the semester.

Scholarships: There are many students who received full rides, either based off of athletics or on intelligence. Financial aid is easy if you are on top of your stuff and don't wait till the last minute.
