Overall Experience: Overall, me being a transfer student from Japan, I believe LCC was a great school to get me back into life in America. It was a great transition school. I made a lot of cool friends, finally discovered my path to becoming a teacher, and also made a few connections with some of the professors and counselors within the AAT program.

Career Services: In the AAT program, the teachers and counselors will guide you step by step into what you plan on doing next. They are available to answer any questions you have and make a lot of things clear in your mind.

Campus Resources: The resources available on this campus is great! Teachers are always there, counselors are always there, we always have food (kinda pricey, but its still food), computer labs are available, etc.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: I wont say it is the fastest thing every but it is still accessible and usable. Sometimes it might be slow depending on the time and location, but it is still there if you ever need to surf the web.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am not receiving financial aid. The tuition is pretty decent. It is a community college and the price per credit hour is fit for a community college like LCC.

4 College Senior

Student Body: Being totally new to the island scared me a bit when I first started at LCC but I was quickly able to make friends. Most of the students on campus are very helpful and approachable.

Academic Experience: For the AAT program that I am currently enrolled in, the staff in this program really go above and beyond expectations. I couldnt ask for a better set of staff and professors.

Academic Experience: The registration part was the most stressful for me. It took a lot longer than I expected and along the way I kept losing motivation to go to LCC. The credit transfer was the most frustrating of all. It took a total of 4-5 months to get my credits transferred.

Academic Flexibility: All of the teachers are very understanding. They really seem to care about your well being.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Constant updates and easy to follow directions. Because the professor is not physically able to guide you through lessons, their through directions help.

Overall Experience: I refused to come here because I thought I would be attending school with high school classmates so I purposely didn't apply here. Things happened and I had no choice but to come here which so far has been great. I'm usually really busy with school and work I don't get home till 8:30 with lack of time to do other things but I need to keep myself occupied. The bus ride to and from school is something I dread but since I have a bus pass, I shouldn't complain. I wouldn't choose to come here again but things happen and I'm glad LCC was an option for me. I'm also glad they accepted me even though I applied late.

Campus Resources: The student center, library and campus activities are cool. However, I have yet to find an area on campus where I can study without the A/C. I get cold on campus often and everywhere I go has A/C. It's hard for me to study when it's cold. The library is nice, I like the option of the loaner print cards but some of the "librarians" aren't so friendly. The campus activities are cool and this campus is nice. Just need to find that "hot/warm" place to study.

Campus Resources: The computer network at my school is great! I have no problems accessing what I need to. The computer labs are most times always full so you either have to wait for an open one or use a laptop. Printing on campus is nice. You can't beat $.08! The wireless access needs improvement. When I'm on my phone using the school's wifi, I have to login multiple times because it some how logs me back out. Also, if there were more places I could print using a print card, that would be nice.

Online Courses: I have not taken an online course yet so I'm not sure how it differs from a traditional classroom experience. Sometimes I do wish I took online classes because I'm feeling too tired or bummy for class so I don't want to prep myself for school. I feel as tho if I were to take an online class, I would be much more lazy because I'm too comfortable at home.

College Senior

Career Services: This is my first semester here at LCC and as far as I know, most students come here just to get their associates and then pursue whatever it is they desire. The job prospects are great! There are a variety of jobs and the pay is great, compared to what I've been offered before. I'm not to sure about the alumni network and the career center is awesome!!! They helped me recreate and edit my resume which looks totally professional now.

Facilities: I'm not sure if there is anything unique about my school. Most of the students here just want to get their education and go home. What I do like is the Math Lab. The tutors are so helpful and answer all of my questions. Best math lab I've been to so far. They also have something sweet for anyone and everyone which is great when I need some sugar in me.

Academic Flexibility: My overall experience at LCC so far has been cool. I came with the intention of making little-to-no friends and I wasn't disappointed. I thought most students from my high school would attend LCC but very little did. I liked that because I didn't want to affiliate with my class. The transition was smooth, I like how it's somewhat close to home. The courses I took at a university didn't get transferred over here though because LCC doesn't offer Samoan 101 or Religion (Book of Mormon I) as a course. I love my job because I am learning and interacting with others as I go, as oppose to my previous job at BYUH. So far I don't love it here, but I am definitely content with being here.

Student Body: The Student Body here at LCC are friendly, you can say. Many Asians and Hawaiians attend here. I recognize many students are from the west side and leeward coast of O'ahu. There are many older folk among the young ones, so I'm sitting in class with students who are about 20 years older than I am.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My school's tuition couldn't get any better! $101 per credit is a can do. I am currently taking 15 credits and only paying for 9. I was able to have money left over that I can use for the upcoming summer semester. The paper processing with the financial aid office was smooth, although I do wish it would've gone faster. I was able to use some of the money I got back to buy me a student bus pass lasting for 5 months which I use everyday! I still wish I had applied for scholarships so I would have more money for books and lunch.

Academic Experience: There is nothing unique about my specific major at my school. I am an Associate of Arts major which is similar to most students on campus. I'm trying to get all of my generals out of the way so that when I return from my mission, I can continue on my way to a 4-year degree.

Academic Experience: The Academics at my school are so-so. The professors are educated, and I do feel like I am learning and progressing. The curriculum challenges my brain and I am fond of it. The class registration process could have gone a bit smoother as I had to wait to start some of my school work because I wasn't registered into a couple of classes yet. There are opportunities available on campus to help with school work that I use and so far I like it.

Overall Experience: My overall experience of this school has been a positive one. It started off rough since it was all new to me but over the course of the program I've learned so much and pushed my myself which taught me a lot academically and personally. I appreciate the small classes which makes me feel like my teachers care and know who I am opposed to as just another student on their roster. I probably wouldn't choose to do it all over again because I would probably choose to attend another school to gain new experiences.

College Junior

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses at this college.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Our campus resources offers a lot although some spaces such as the campus gym can use an update.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Computer network is easily accessible and fast.
