Nightlife: Could be better, could be worse. I think the bars are fun to go to, although their drinks are sometimes pricey.

Off-Campus Dining: There aren't too many places to go later at night that is within walking distance of the campus, so that's kind of disappointing.

Health & Safety: There have never been any problems, for me, with any kind of crime or my personal safety being in jeopardy.

Campus Strictness: I've never had any problems with campus strictness. As long as you follow the guidelines, campus officials won't give you any trouble.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I do not party and I do not participate with nightlife activities.

Local Atmosphere: I go home every weekend so I haven't seen much of the town. There is a park nearby that is fun to hike and very pretty. There is a mall and walmart downtown.

Campus Housing: The room size is pretty decent as long as you don't over pack. The social atmosphere depends on the floor you are on, dorm you are in, and how social you try to be. Silver is pretty spacious and has air conditioning. Mary Green is going to be renovated this summer and is only for freshman. The dorms are pretty much the same, it just depends how you make the experience.

Off-Campus Dining: I usually eat in my dorm or at Mund. I have not been to too many restaurants off campus. The Subway is good but can be crowded on the first few days of the semester or when students want to skip special eating events. The fast food is as good as anywhere else. Otherwise, I have not experienced many off campus restaurants.

Computers: There are three computer labs on campus that I know of. Which are in Mund, Lynch, and Bishop Library. Most of the time it is easy to print on campus because even if one printer is not working, there are others. Most of the time the network is working but there have been times when the network was down. Also it is sometimes extremely slow at certain times throughout the day when everyone is using it. You can get on wifi in almost every building so it can be extremely convenient. I think everyone should have there own personal computer because going to the library all the time can get annoying. It also helps for when the library is closed and you need to write your paper. Having a printer however is not necessary but it can be really helpful if you do get one.

Nightlife: I myself do not party but it is nice that we have something like the UG to go every Saturday. It's just a nice little club we have and what makes it good is that it is on campus. I know a few people who go there every week. I also know some sport teams have there own parties after a game sometimes. Besides parties the campus is usually quiet at night and when it is nice outside going for a walk feels great. The blue lights everywhere makes this campus feel safe and it stays that way at night.

Academics: Lebanon Valley College offers a great selection of classes and can help you to find classes for your major. I think all the Psychology teachers here are great and they are all willing to help me when I need it. My other teachers also give me chances to go to them whenever I need help.

Computers: Printing is free!! I don't like that there is only one color printer on campus and only one major computer lab, but we are undergoing construction to add another computer lab. the internet usually works very well and is very speedy.

Drug Safety: I stay away from the drug scene, but there are girls my age who get drunk often and even keep some alcohol in their rooms.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Late night noise is impossible to get away from. Girls often yell and talk loudly after quiet hours. I wish quiet hours would actually be enforced. Also, underage drinking happens a lot, and I'm sure the RA's know about it, but they don't usually do anything unless there's a full-out party going on.

Greek Life: I don't know much about Greek life because I'm not a part of it.

Academics: The workload is very heavy. You MUST study. It often seems like the teachers want us to do poorly on tests, especially lab exams. If someone gets a C on a lab exam, that is considered outstanding. The curriculum and facilities are great, though, and only a few of the teachers act like that.

Off-Campus Dining: There isn't a whole lot to choose from, but I don't mind it.

Diversity: The liberalism of this campus is the thing I dislike the most. Here, Christians are the minority, and our beliefs are pretty much covered up by all the liberalism.

Athletics: Fan support is the greatest. Students are encouraged to participate in athletic events or teams. I'm convinced that our swim team is the best in the country, not because we win all the time, but because we get along so well and we have the most amazing coach in the whole world. Before college, I had never swam on a team or even taken a swim lesson, but my coach was proud to have me on the team and transformed me into a fantastic swimmer. I highly recommend the swim team!!

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know much about it because I'm only a freshman and I live on campus, but it sounds good based on what I've heard from other people who live off campus.

Weather: It's a little too cloudy and rainy for my tastes, especially in the spring (so far).

Majors: I had no difficulty getting into my program. My major isn't one that the college offers, so the Biology department allowed me to create my own major, which was wonderful. Academics, leadership, and community service are the most important criteria for admission. The best decision I made throughout my admission process was meeting with and admissions counselor for a personal interview. This allowed me to explain certain things about myself, my application, and my high school transcript. An interview is an absolute must!

Majors: The program is good, but I have changed my mind about what I want to major in and what kind of career I want to pursue. My current major is Ecology, but next semester, I am transferring to Montana and majoring in Wildlife Biology. I have no doubt that I'll be able to find a job. Although I changed my mind, I would still do it over again because I experienced so many great things this year.
