Academic Flexibility: I feel like the Academic Flexibility here is excellent. There are several different shifts so no matter what your schedule is you should be able to find a shift to fit it. When you have to be absent the Chef Instructors are happy to help you make up the work, there is tutoring on campus and student mentors if you ever feel like you're stuck on anything. Definitely an A+

Campus Resources: The Campus Resources at Le Cordon Bleu Sacramento are pretty good, there are computers for students to use in the library, everyone is very helpful, staff and students alike, there is always someone around to help. The only reason I give it a B+ is because there probably aren't as many computers as there should be.

Campus Resources: This school does not have a library of books, but does have about 8 computers in the small library that all can access the internet. Our grades are printed on the portal. Plus a lot of things that are on our portal, we need like recipes and such. Although sometimes the internet connection occasionally is slow or the occassional break down of a computer. If that happens...usually it takes about 2-3 days before they can fix it. Which I honestly think that it does not make such a big deal unless there are students who need to type up things that they need for class that same day. Sometimes we can save documents onto these school computers especially if we don't have access to a computer or email or a printer at home.

Academic Flexibility: Very Flexible – They warn you that some credits may not transfer however the staff does their best to make sure you understand the process prior to attending classes and it is a little bit harder than i expected

Student Body: Different Shifts – Their are two different programs going on at the school which are culinary arts and baking and pastry also their are five different kitchens so students are in and out but everyone is pretty friendly and interactions are good everyone has been very helpful

Academic Experience: Chef Instructors Are Very Involved – You have an admissions representative who walks you through the process in signing up for school also on site computers in a financial aid department who set you up on the phone with a financial aid representative who walks you through applying for FAFSA financial aid also they answer any questions you may have about applying they also offer scholarships through the school and loans through the school you can apply for. The school has been very helpful they have career services who help you get a resume going figure out where exactly you want to do an externship at and network yourself in that area.

Academic Experience: Classes Are Fun and Hands on – I am a culinary arts major and I have learned a lot so far classes are in six week increments and I'm going on my fourth week I have learned a lot so far and the chef instructors try to steer you away from using exact measurements and to prepare you for how it is in the work force it is hard though because you have to network yourself and apply for culinary jobs in your area that you live or where you want to go and also have some money saved up for an externship which is part of education requirements.

Campus Resources: Excellent Career Services Department – If there is one thing most college students are worried about, it is finding a job or relevant work experience after college. At Le Cordon Bleu in Sacramento, Ca there is no reason to worry about finding a job. From the first day of school, the people in the Career Services Department amke themselves available to assist you in finding a job. Overall Experience: My Expreience at Le Cordon Bleu – I am currently a student at Le Cordon Bleu in Sacramento, CA. I just finished my first two classes and I am excited to start my next class. The teachers and staff at this school are very professional and knowledgable. I have talked to students at other schools teaching culiary arts and they have not had the same type of experience as I have at Le Cordon Bleu. The Chef Instructors are friendly and eager to teach the students everything they need to know in order to become the best in the culinary field. I would reccomend this school to anyone that is interested in going to school to become a chef.
