5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: i will give it a high five

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: The school have begin great experience

4 College Senior

Student Body: The student body is the great. A lot of people are friendly and most of all we are all there for the same reason. To be chefs so we all get along. Expect those few people here and there that are just impossible to get along with but for the most part everyone is nice. We are all smart and really passionate about what we do that we come off as geeky to other people. That doesn't bother me though I like knowing and learning things about cooking it's what I love to do.

Online Courses: Our school doesn't have any online courses that are offered. Maybe we should I'm sure it would help a lot of students.

Academic Flexibility: I think that's one of its best features we go to school in four hour intervals. So they four intervals 6-10am 10-2pm 2-6pm and 6-10pm. This being Monday through Friday thing people pick the time slot that suits them best.

The only fault is when there aren't enough students they try to combine classes from two different time slots and that bothers us because obviously we picked out specific time because that's what works for us.

Academic Experience: Le Cordon Bleu does offer us academic courses so we can complete our AA but some of the teachers there are pretty questionable when it comes to teaching.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: My is school is all about my major. If you're not there to have a culinary career than I'm not sure what you're doing there

4 College Senior

Career Services: Our career service advisors are very motivational. The push us and they want us to succeed. Every week they email us with new places that are hiring or even just volunteer work to get us experience.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Our financial aid process is very lengthy and tedious but most of the time if we have questions there is always there to help us. You can show up with or without an appointment. They want us to get everything done by deadline. I think if anything them being so pushy is the the only thing that can be irritable about them.

3 College Senior

Facilities: Something unique that our school offers is the name. The name "Le Cordon Bleu" opens so many doors for us in the industry and helps outside of school to get successful careers in kitchens all over the world.

The social scene at our campus is everyone is known because our school is so small it's hard not to meet almost everyone there. Which is actually pretty cool because in our industry it's good to make friends, it's gives us kore job opportunities.

Campus Resources: The resources we have on campus are actually pretty helpful and is staffed with people who know what they are doing. My only problem is it's very small, so a lot of the time I find myself waiting for a computer for almost 30min.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Well like I said the computers are in the library and we have very limited space but as for printing it goes fine. We can print anything and it's only a nickel a sheet.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I believe my experience at Le Codon Bleu to be one the best I've could have ever asked for. You meet great people and you're in a very hands on training program. Not to mention we are taught by amazing chef instructors who actually care about us. They make sure we pull through and helps throughout our entire courses. It's simply just lots of fun and you learn a lot in a very short period of time.

College Senior

Academic Experience: The academics is mostly all hands on cooking daily and some book work

Tuition & Financial Aid: While this school is somewhat expensive, the financial aid office works with you to help you discover options. One thing that has helped me with tuition is the FAFSA which is Government aid. The cost of education here is worth it to me because I feel like I have a great opportunity and have the help I need to succeed.

Campus Resources: While the computer lab at the Hollywood campus isn't huge, I've never had a problem completing any of my research projects.

Career Services: The help from the career services at the school is top notch. Weekly emails with job leads and other information make it super easy to know which local restaurants are hiring.

Campus Resources: The schools library always has more than enough computers and staff to help you. The printers are free and handouts on just about everything are free as well.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Skills classes is like nothing I have seen before. I would think to offer lab work after class hours every day would run too expensive but the school put these on. It is really great to take advantage of everything our school has to offer.

4 College Junior

Student Body: I see all types of people a my school, old young, male and female, black and white, and everyone that I talk to is very friendly. Everyone has a goal and is on a path to achieve that goal.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Our campus not only has a library and a big student center, there is whats called skills classes where students and have extra time outside class to work on lab exercises. This includes cooking with real products under real chefs outside class time to have more time to practice.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am receiving is well worth the money I'm paying. I got little help from financial aid, which does help but I'm paying having to pay back a good chunk of it because of loans. There are five other children my parents have to worry about paying for and only my father works so I thought since we are a single income household I would have received more help. I know still that my degree will make a huge difference in my career.

4 College Junior

Career Services: I went to the career center to ask several questions such as the externships and future jobs and luckily they answered all my questions in detail and knew what they were talking about. They're help was great!

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: i was hoping for more help on the scholarship portion of it. it was long and tedious going through all the scholarship applications and trying to find out which ones you qualify for

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: admission was a breeze. However after admission and the initial financial aid step it became difficult to get help with grants and scholarships. felt like I was left alone once the school was given the pell grant and stafford loans
