Academic Flexibility: Time management allows you to pick when its a good time for you to learn

Campus Resources: Small campus with lots of willing volunteers and helpful staff

Campus Resources: I moved to a city 3 hours away from my school and was looking to move to a location about 10 - 15 minutes away from my school. Le Cordon Bleu was very helping with getting me to the right people to help me with feeling more comfortable with their city, a city I was completely unfamiliar with. They emailed me form for helping me find housing, roommates, and warning of what types of scams to look out for, plus other safety tips about moving. The people I spoke with were very easy to get in contact with and extremely patient with my questions and guiding me in the right direction.

Academic Flexibility: A really nice thing about this school is the class schedules are very flexible. You have many options out of the morning afternoon and a couple evening classes allowing you to have an outside life. I am able to maintain my schooling, a part time job and time to see my family 3 hours away. Their scheduling also makes it's a lot easier for those who have had children and needs to build their schedule around their child's schedule.

Online Courses: I was unsure about the online courses because I wasn't sure if I was going to get the answered I needed as soon as I would have liked, but they really make everything very accessible and pretty self explanatory if you ever feel lost. I found it helped me better manage my time because it was something I had to do on my own as opposed to sitting through a class with other students. It was nice being able to do the class when I was able to do it - around my work schedule.

Student Body: Most of the students are here for the same reasons I am - because they enjoy cooking. Class hours make it easy to be a part time student and part time employee so most students are kept busy. The school offers so many extra activities to keep students involved in the culinary field and many options for students to expand their knowledge in the culinary world. The teachers and staff are full of expert advise and will direct you to the appropriate person if they feel someone else could help more than they can. This environment is where I belong because I love food and cooking and it is very easy for me to recognize that the people around me feel the same way.

Academic Experience: Classes are really well organized by category, ie breads, pastries, etc, but the time frame isn't sufficient to allow growth and learning and individual attention to students when there are 30 students in a class and 2 professors with differing ideals. However, the faculty is highly knowledgeable and always willing to help. The workload is manageable and pertains to what is taught in class.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Little flexibility in class scheduling. 3 daily rotations of classes that you are essentially locked into during your schedule.

1 College Freshman

Campus Resources: No athletics or student centers available. Library is useless. Campus activities available for day students, not evening students.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Many extra curricular activities for students if they want to get involved. Would like to see more of them available for people that work during the day.

1 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Computer lab is sufficient at best. Printers are almost always not working. Wireless access is extremely slow. Library is useless.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is a little high. Financial Aid personnel are very helpful.

Overall Experience: Good Experience So Far – There are some others schools i would have preferred first, just because of what they have to offer. Being in the city is also a nice thing and a culture experience and learning from extremely well trained chefs.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: No General Education Classes – I have to take online courses to finish my associates degree. That was disappointing since I can only get a certificate while attending school. In school offers no general education classes.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: Everyone Is Involved – the homework is not to much. i can do homework and still go to work full time. the instructors and staff enjoy their jobs and have a lot of knowledge in the subjects.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Le Cordon Bleu Tuition Cost, Cambridge, MA – Before I have decided to select an excellent university or college for my culinary arts education, I have been researching many many schools. Then I found out that were a private technical school for the program I am looking for, that is, culinary arts major, and it was in Boston, MA. However the cost of education was higher than any other I had attended before. I was hoping I would get the maximum amount of money to go to that school, and I did. The federal government has given me the highest amount of loan for Le Cordon Bleu in Cambridge, MA.
In addition to that amount of loan, I still need extra funds in order to complete my educational cost for the next 20 months until graduation in June, 2012. That is why I have been applying for many scholarships in order to get those needed funds. Le Cordon Bleu has done their best to help me get the maximum amount of loans for fall 2010 attendance, and I really appreciate it!

Overall Experience: Cooking Is My Passion. I Love It as Much as Life Itself. I would definately choose this college again. I've enjoyed being here and leaning from these very knowledgeable teachers. I like the fact that it is a well rounded program, teaching a variaty of international cuisines.

Campus Resources: The Unique Opportunity They Have – The making of your own herbs and sausage, lets not forget the wine tasting
