Campus Resources: No athletic center, no student center small library with NO books. Asthetically blah.

Campus Resources: Extreme slow, daily problems with printers communicating with the network, wireless was ok.

Career Services: Le Cordon Bleu has a fairly strong career center and good networking within the culinary industry.

Academic Flexibility: The main reason I chose this school was they have a remarkable Baking degree program. They have helped me with financial aid, transferring from my previous college, and they helped me through every process from applying for school, financial aid, and now starting classes.

Academic Flexibility: They have several different time brackets for students. Morning, afternoon, evenings....

Career Services: I haven't used their services a whole lot yet but from what I've seen it is probably the biggest data base to help student find a job that I have ever seen. It also helps that they are an international school so you hve an extremely larger amount of opportunities.

Academic Flexibility: I have a limited availability and they had a schedule that seemed tailor made for me.

Student Body: From straight out of high school to working parents to senior citizens, this school has a wide array of students. All of us are serious about learning and it shows.

Academic Experience: the specific major at my school is a big deal because everyone wants what you are going after and you have to leasrn to set the bar high for yourself and decide if that is what you really want to do for the rest of your life and the chefs there help get you through that proccess.

Academic Experience: I am majoring in culinary arts, baking and patisserie. My classes have been just basics, but basics I feel we didn't necessarily need to be taught. Like how to saute chicken, or make a tomato sauce. Maybe in the long run I'll find out why, but I haven't had any cakes or pastries with those ingeridents. They haven't required I take psychology or anything off the wall like that though. They do have a job center that helps you at the end of your course to get an externship and a job.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office here is very willing to work with you and help you every step of the way through your payment options and fafsa information. If you ever have any questions, you feel like they actually want to help you and they aren't just doing it becuase they have to. I only had one instance when they took a couple weeks to file a paper I had faxed to them on receiving a loan, but that was eventually taken care of and everything was back on track. A lot better than the financial aid department at the community college I was attending. I do feel I'm getting my money's worth when it comes to the education I'm receiving from the tuition I'm paying.

Academic Experience: The classes are small, so the chef instructor has plenty of time to answer our questions. It's very hands on which is an easier way of learning rather than just reading out of the book.

Campus Resources: State of the art kitchens, career center, virtual library, computer acess, copy machine, and finance office with computers and staff to walk you through any financial paperwork required.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Each class prepares you for the next, all in 6 week blocks. If you fall behind or have attendance issues, it is an option to repeat a 6 week course, I believe at extra cost.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: No credits to transfer. My school experience thus far has been absolutely wonderful. I come to school everyday excited to get to learn more technique to go along with my inner passion.

3 College Senior

Career Services: There is a career center to help with externship/employment searching, and has a staff of 2-3 people. There is a virtual library also availabe, and with the schools website or portal, there is a resume writing program called Optimal Resume that is available to students.

Academic Experience: We have homework, usually reading and practicing knife cuts at home. The curruculum starts with Safety/Sanitation as well as basic knife skills and French terms. Then moves to stocks, sauces, soups, and rice/beans. Then its onj to protiens, like a week of chicken cooking/fabricating/handling then duck, then beef, fish, veal....
After that its 6 weeks learning baking and pastery. Then the final in class is Cuisines across Cultures and we learn about dishes from every region. To finish, we have to do a 6 week externship at a place of our choosing.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I was unaware that my GI Bill had expired prior to going to school. I did recieve a Pell Grant and a Substidized loan along with a Bleu Grant to cover ALL tuition fees. Our financial employee is very helpful, and very good at what he does, but I dont think he has the experience or networking skills to find ways around tough situations. I am homeless due to no VA housing money, and lack of transportation. I was working at the school as a Government Student Worker, but lost my ride and was let go. If I had a way to find a loan or grant to help me get to July, I will be heading to Florida for an externship at Disney World.

Student Body: Ive met people from all races, and within my 13 person class represent numerous ethnicities (Peru, Latino, Korea, White, Black, and Im not sure but our instructor is of a I believe Latin decent. Religon wise, Ive actually met people involved in religions I didnt know existed, along with Cristians, Catholics, and atheiest (Asatru was one I hadnt heard of, but have started to find out more about because of a carpool companion). Single moms, single fathers, even a couple grandparents. In my class alone, our ages range from 17-53. Most of us are lower middle class, but all working towards a better future.

Campus Resources: There are not a lot of resources but the ones they have are nice. Biggest complaint would be the printers in the computer lab don't always work.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel like I am getting my moneys worth. I feel that the financial aid office is helpful. I wish I recieved more financial aid but don't we all!

Academic Experience: widened my view onthe culinary arts career and i hope that it will take me far

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel it was a good process and easy they walk you through step by step

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: It is a very unique experience becaue what people normally learn at school I learn about food instead. The curriculum is great and it helps you move through your classes because everything you need for your next class you learned in the class before so you are just brushing up on your skills and perfecting them.

3 College Senior

Career Services: The people in the career sevices are very intentive and they make sure you know what you are getting yourself into before jumping in.
