Academic Experience: I am a career changer and have over 15 years of professional work expierience. I was not prepared to take classes with all high school kids. I take the 7-11am course offerings and when enrolling was assured that I would be in class with more peers of my age and background. The school definately lacks organization in all departments and you will spend most of your time hunting down any infomation or items you need on your own. Everyone seems to be doing there own thing, and its hard to find someone willing to help you without having an attitude or making you feel as if you are in the way. On a positive note, the chef instructors are extremely knowledgeable and talented and always willing to help when you need it.

Tuition & Financial Aid: They offer college courses, but they don't award HOPE Scholarship. HOPE and PELL are the reason I attended my last school for free. I had to relocate, so along with paying rent for school housing, I am also accumulating loan debts. I also don't like the fact that student housing isn't covered by the loans.

Academic Experience: I've attended college in the past, and I've already taken and received credit for most of them at my last college.

Student Body: Our school is very diverse; however, a lot of the students are insubordinate to the dress code. In other schools, it would probably not matter too much, but this is a culinary school. We deal with food consumed by the public because we have a five star restaurant on campus that we use for classes.

Academic Experience: All of the academic courses are accelerated courses. Not everyone is these courses is ready for accelerated courses. I have past high college experience in accelerated and higher level courses, but not everyone does.

Academic Flexibility: I originally signed up an afternoon class, but was able to change to a morning class so that I could carpool with another student. This was extremely helpful.

Academic Flexibility: I really needed this flexible schedule since I am a single mom. I am home before my children get out of school.

Campus Resources: Campus resources are almost always geared toward finding a job. Most colleges have a gym or a place for students to parlay. This school does not.

Student Body: Le Cordon Bleu in Tucker is a wonderful school to come learn and pick the brains of experienced chefs that have been in the industry. The education is there for the taking. On the other hand, the campus offers little to no ways for extra student interaction, you would think a culinary school would have a cafeteria for students to congregate and eat.

Campus Resources: The Campus resources are incredible. We have all equipment needed for class work and practice and are allowed to stay over with another class for further practice time. We are given great personal equipment for class as well as outside of school. We also have an amzing career services dept at our school that assists in finding us jobs/externships.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have not taken actuall classes in culinary arts, and this would be my first time looking into a culinary school, but I do hope that Le Cordon Bleu do not dissapoint me, because I see that it is not a cheap school with the tuition being 20,000 dollars for a one year program, and I see that if I place and put money into something they usually turn out to be worth the amount that I am paying for. I see that with the tuition Le Cordon Bleu will be worth the education with the tuition being more than most culinary schools out there.

Campus Resources: The facilities in school are not bad, but I can see that they could be modified a little more to show a higher level of sophistication. When I took the tour the school seemed interesting and the kitchens that the students worked in were very interesting to see as well, but I was a bit dissapointed when I took a look at the library. It seemed very dull and seemed to lack the enthusiastic atmosphere for students to really want to work in the room, and it looks a bit dull. However, the main kitchen classrooms seemes very intersting and the overall school seems friendly and fun to be in.

Campus Resources: I personally enjoyed to see that all the classes are hands on classes and the classrooms seem to be disgned so that they resemble real kitchen that are presented to chefs in the real world.

Campus Resources: I give this because I have yet to experience the computers at Le Cordon Bleu, but I see that it is a wonderful resource to have a lab that students are able to work and have a place to access the computers whenever they see it fit. It shows that the school is trying all its best to make sure the students do not lack the neccessary resources to work into the program.

Academic Experience: I think that the chef's at my school are wonderful, they always stay on topic, and i learn something new everyday. This is the reason why there are only 24 students in every class.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have wanted to enter the world of cooking for a long time. I didnt know that it would be this hard to pay for college, but I am trying eveything thing I can to pay for it. You are supose to do what you love, no matter how much the cost is.

Campus Resources: Good Resources – Well I start attending school on August 20th, so far instructors are so helpful in many different ways as far as networking and getting to know people. The career staff door is always open for career moves such as externships, resumes, and how to prepare for interviews. The libraries are always open for any type of work that needs to be completed.

Campus Resources: A Career Switch – Well I must say the orientation that I attened on, August 17 was very rewarding. All of the instructors and staff were actually concerned about the students and always extending that extra helping hand. The last college I attended was very moving in the orientation, they really didn't make you feel at home. But, I made the best of it and continued my education. Le Cordon Bleu really opens doors for a lot of successful people.
