4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love my school and would recommend it to others.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The price of school has gone up over the years but the tuition of Jr. College is affordable compared to the State or University prices. I have not applied for Financial Aid yet.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: The classes are for the real world, like how to start a business to the General Ed courses.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Almost all of my credits were transferred, some were over 20 yrs old.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The Photography and Film Programs are amazing. There is a Student Newspaper that the students run.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are there to support the students. The class registration process goes by the amount of credits. There are many different programs. I have only been involved with the Film and Photography Program, along with the Newspaper.

Student Body: Everyone seems to be accepted

College Junior

Career Services: I have never used these resources.

5 College Junior

Facilities: Las Positas College is a smaller Jr. College that is there for the students. The teachers and facility are available to assist and to guidance to those who need it. Las Positas College has a a awe-inspiring Photography Program, that has an amazing studio that has lights, backdrops, pocket wizards, and anything else that you can image. The Photography Dept. will loan cameras with lenses to students who need them. There are many different classes with brilliant teachers that are there to support in your journey. There are plenty of free resources for students who are having difficulty in various subjects. I highly recommend Las Positas Jr. College for those who need a stepping stone to a University or State College. We even have our own Starbucks.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The computer network is wondeful, super fast and works almost everywhere on campus.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Its pretty fair for the most part. Slightly over priced for the books considering they're more expensive than the class half the and not used enough for the class.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Online courses are great more at your own pace even though there are deadlines you have more freedom. The hard part is you must motivate yourself to stay on top of the work.

Las Positas College surprises many students. The level of attention and personalization helps you succeed in your goals with confidence. The College does its best to provide resources for those returning to school, those who are new to school, and those who have never really liked school. The faculty at Las Positas is one of the best reasons to attend this school. The school de facto motto is, "Students First," and all of the staff and faculty go the extra mile in order for it to be true. No matter the reason you attend the College, the resources are there to help you achieve your education and propel you to your desired destination. The faculty and staff are highly rated, some of which come from world-class universities and also teach at them. They are deeply invested in their students and have visible passion for the subjects they teach. It is truly exciting for students when the faculty that teaches them are just as excited every day of work. The close relationship that Las Positas has with institutions such as a Lawrence lab also makes the College exciting for students to attend and experience.

The overall social culture is not as big as four-year universities, but it has its own community twist and entices students to participate in academic and social causes. College clubs help prepare students for their future by offering incentives, bonding groups, and additional resources.
