Online Courses: The one class I took on line wasn't to bad. The instructor was a nice fellow.

Online Courses: Their online courses are great and I took one every term. Moodle is easy to use, and I loved how you could easily check your grades without bugging your instructors. It also made contacting instructors very easy as well. But to take an online course you have to be able to stay on top of it and not procrastinate or forget about it.

Online Courses: Do not like taking online courses, but this is a personal preference.

Online Courses: I have had very good online courses and teachers, and a few that were really bad.

One teacher gave so much homework, quizzes, and exams for an online intro course that most of us failed the class. What she gave us was for someone who would have at least one to two years of experience in that field, but not for someone at the beginner or introductory level.

Another teacher had us purchase an access code, which cost each of us $100, only to decide after six weeks into the course that she was not going to use it, so we all lost money because of her late decision as we were not able to sell it or get our money back from the place of purchase.

Some students don't like to communicate much in a group setting online. My experience has been that in each class only about one third of the students interact with the other students online.

Also, many of the online teachers limit student-teacher communication time, which makes it difficult to get a hold of them when needing to ask them a question.

Some online teachers also do not allow us to review our quiz answers to study for exams, which is not very helpful. Since we are not in a classroom setting, we are very limited, so I feel we should at least be able to review our past quiz answers to help us prepare for upcoming exams in those classes.

Online Courses: I enjoyed most of my online courses, but I did find the teachers were likely to assume. My nutrition teacher attacked me after a post I post in a forum, and totally read way into what I had written. SHe took it very personally and mis read it. She even took down the post I found it very odd and rude. I dropped the course.
