Campus Dining: I am enrolled in the online master's program

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: If you're willing to drive 15 minutes away, there are plenty of places to eat. Vietnamese, Mexican, Chinese, etc. are just a few ethnic options, fast food restaurants are also available, and the cost is quite low.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: Even though it's very close to where I live, I've heard that Lamar University has great computer programs as well as other programs that make it stand out.

College Freshman

Facilities: I live with my parents and not on campus, but the dorms look quite nice from the outside.

College Freshman

Guys & Girls: My first semester is going to be Fall 2014, so I'm not sure how the students exactly act. I just answer these questions by experience of being on campus while getting ready for the semester.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: It's simple, but having all of the required documents, such as income taxes, easily available in case of several usage.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Campus looks great, but at least a 10-15 minute drive on the highway is how to get to the nearest place of interest.

1 College Junior

Scholarships: I did not apply for financial aid because it is such a headache and hassle. From personal experience and friends, it is not worth the time.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: I work two jobs and am in graduate school, but I still go to bars and country dance clubs to let loose and aenjoy a night out. There are a lot of Texas country concerts around, which are a lot fo fun to go to.

3 College Junior

Weather: Summers are hot, but the school is air conditioned. When it rains in SETX, it usually pours, so invest in an umbrella or raincoat.

Majors: I am in the graduate program for Speech Language Pathology. There is an application processa dn you must take the GRE. For my selection year, there was an interview level. The process wasn't terrible or an extensive period of wait to know if you were accepted, however the interveiw was very nerve racking. I am glad that I made the decision that I did because I love what I am doing.

4 College Junior

Majors: I love my graduate program of Speech Language Pathology because you learn a lot of quality information that is useful to real world experience. Also, our program gives us hands-on experience and practice in order to carry out our knowledge and learn and grow as SLPs.
