5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: They work hard to help you get what you need that works best for you.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: They have fantastic rates for classes, and their financial aid options and payments are just as great as any other school. They also work very closely with you to get you the funds you need for school.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: They have been fantastic to work with while trying to transfer my credits, everything flowed easily and all my questions were answered timely and with great enthusiasm.

College Junior

Career Services: I haven't used any of these resources previously, but look forward to using them once I graduate.

Campus Resources: The school does everything it can to accommodate students with their needs. Their library is large and there are a ton of places to study as well. Even though the school is a Technical school and doesn't have regular sports, they still offer plenty of extra-curricular activities for the students.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The school offers laptops to purchase or lease through them, which is connected to all of their campus. They also offer network setup for non-leased laptops for a fee, to those students who decide to purchase a laptop elsewhere or already own one.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I like that you can get right into the program and learn real skills right off the bat!

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are a ton of choices for different fields of interests. The teachers I worked with previously were some of the best ones I had studied under. I also love the communication that the school provides. They really want to make sure you are comfortable and can work to meet your goals.

College Junior

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online classes through this school but I have heard fantastic things about them!

Facilities: I love this school! I went there previously and loved it and decided to go back again!!

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The facilities are all new, so it is awesome. There are no dorms, though, but adequate living arrangements are available in the community.

College Junior

Campus Resources: I'm a distance student so my experience with the network on campus is limited. However, they have a page of distance education degrees. Their networks must be quite adequate.

Campus Resources: LATI has a wonderful feel to the facility. Everyone seems generally happy to be on campus, and working toward a goal. They have some unique online programs which make their programs convenient for students who live at a distance to the campus.

College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I am in enrolled in Lake Area Tech to begin in August, 2013.

College Junior

Online Courses: i am not started my training at Lake Area yet. I graduate from high school in May of this year and will begin my training in August, 2013

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I am not currently a student at Lake Area. I start this year, in August, but from what I seen when I went to visit the campus, it appears the library is going to be a great asset to me..

3 College Junior

Career Services: The school requires you to take classes for post grad. Listings are posted to assist you in job search and they hold job fairs for all atleast once a year.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I could not believe the requirements for getting in, the cost is outrageous, and I have started having issues with the way the school is running things. Higher level departments dont listen to the students or teachers about the technical issues. I have noticed that cosmitoligy, nurcing, and the mechanical departments have state of the art equipment and not alot of issues. Not right for the other departments.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The school is more focused around younger students just out of high school. They are the ones getting scholarships and what the activities are revolved around. Inregards to diversity this is the midwest not the coastlines.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The drafting instructors know the field and bring that in to class. The structure and flow is alittle off. The department is laid back yet has alot of room for improvement.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Over all the Student Body is wonderful. Almost everyone I know gets along and there are always activities being put on. There is a sense of ease walking into Lake Area and you can feel that when you walk in. Many people are students and also work full-time to part-time jobs. The school offers a variety of resources and services that the students really take and use to their advantage because their goal is to be successful.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Lake Area Tech – I like my school but I would reather have gone to an acual college. they have a lot of hands on stuff that i really like.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Lake Area Experience – I like Lake Area because it is very hands on and you can have one on one with the instructors if needed.

4 College Junior

Career Services: Post Grad – LATI strives to help students get jobs in their field of study. They continuously post job openings in different work areas, they are partners with our local job service so that they get the new and updated lists of job openings. I think that LATI really tries hard to assist students in this area
