Transportation: We don't have a ton of transportation provided by the school, but you don't really need it that much. There is a bus that costs about 40 cents to ride as a student that you can take to get to Walmart or the movie theater or whatnot. There's also a couple of taxi services that are pretty cheap that you can take to get around town. The school is really close to the main part of town though so it's really not a bad walk, depending on where you're trying to go.

Transportation: The school provides shuttles to and from local airports at the start and end of each term. There is also the Amtrak station within walking distance and multiple trains a day go to Chicago. There are also taxis and a public bus system if students need to get somewhere in Galesburg.

Transportation: Public transportation is really good when they are running, however, if you a bus at night, you won't get on. You will be able to call a cab, which is pretty much affordable.

Transportation: There are buses that run in Galesburg. The price is around 30 cents(60, forward and back). While some cities might boast a system like clockwork, ours is a bit more sporadic. So, sometimes it might be a little early, or a little late.
However, you really only need them if you're trying to get to Wal-Mart or Target. There's a quickmart gas station like 5minutes away from campus, and a mini strip mall, dollar general and street filled with shops within a 10minute walk of campus.
Most people have a bike, or walk to get where they need. It's up to your needs. B- for typical car and bus. But A+ if you don't mind walking and bike rides.
