Athletics: 60% of students participate in some kind of athletic club, intramural or varsity sport so they are quite popular. We are a Division III school so we don't really hold tryouts, anyone can join a varsity sport and everyone is accepting of that. There are students who take their sport very seriously and others, like myself, who join because they love the sport. Some of our teams are really great, we have a lot of great swimmers on the women's team and a few on the men's, but the small size of the men's team lets it down a little.

School spirit is fabulous, we always have people going with large groups of their friends to the home, and close-by games. Even meets farther away, from campus will have parents and alumni in attendance. We are proud of our athletes just because they do their best and we support them doing what they love.

The facilities are good, we literally just had our track re-done and the football, soccer, baseball, and softball fields have always been great. The field house, which is more of a practice space for some sports and is used for club and intramural sports is a great multipurpose space. It is used for tennis, golf, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, and track. We also use it to as a back-up for outside events in case of inclement weather. Our pool is a little small, just 4 lanes but that's the only qualm I have.

Our gym is only 8 years old and is great!! It's air-conditioned and comfortable and has every piece of cardio and weight-training equipment that one could need. It has two levels - the mezzanine for the cardio and weight machines, the lower for iso-metric machines, free-weights, dumbbells, etc. We also are very open for use in the gym, we don't give athletes preference so everyone gets along and works around one another.

Athletics: Our actual sports teams really are not good and we do not win things often, but we have a lot of spirit, and we have a lot of fun, and it seems generally agreed upon by everyone that that's what's important when it comes to school sports.

Our intramural sports are lovely, too. I am a member of one, and it has been the best group of people I've had the pleasure of meeting, and my team has become my family, and this type of thing is common.

Athletics: About 60% of students are involved in athletics in some way. There are 21 varsity sports, 11 male and 10 female. Sports are certainly not the center of everything but they do foster school spirit and a fun recreational time for fans. Our student section at games is called the Fire Pit (our mascot is the Prairie Fire). Our new president of the college, Theresa Amott, is very invested in athletics and has hired many more head coaches since her arrival so that each varsity sport now has a full time head coach. Club and Intramural sports are very popular and open to all students.

Athletics: I find the athletic facilities to be fine, but that is from the perspective of a non-athlete who uses a small amount of the machines in the first place. Sports simply aren't important on campus. We have a good soccer team and I have heard there is usually a turnout for those games, but I personally have not involved myself in any sports.
