4 College Sophomore

Academics: I have found most of my psychology professors to be very well-educated in their fields. I do not often approach them for help, but they always have office hours that are available if you do need help. As an underclassmen, I have not done many hands-on things aside from participating in experiments. The workload has not been excessive but I have done a few projects and papers that have been particularly engaging and challenging.

Academics: Being at a small school, the environment is a lot different from other schools. Rather than having large lectures given by a TA, we have extremely small classes that are often discussion-based led by the professor. If there is a TA, they do small things, like grading papers, giving students help in class, holding study sessions, etc. The workload (at least in my classes) is largely based on the reading, and amount of reading can become somewhat daunting but still doable.

Academics: Academics here at Knox are awesome. I love all of the professors in my major and always enjoy my classes here. They care very much about their students and the subjects that they are teaching. At Knox, you will get to know your professors very well. I've been to my Latin professor's house twice, once to help her cook! The majority of classes here revolve around discussion which keeps them engaging and interesting. You will never have a "pointless" class here.
