5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Kishwaukee Community College is a perfect fit for anyone wanting to get the Associates degree before transferring to a 4-year college.

College Senior

Career Services: I have not used this service.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The A.A.S in Marketing and Management will greatly help with my B.S. in Accountancy that I will pursue in the Fall of 2014. The only bad thing is its harder to transfer to a 4-year college.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Every option available is great.

Facilities: I do not know of any other schools campus so I could not discuss the uniqueness.

4 College Senior

Student Body: There is a great diversity at Kish and everyone seems to get along and respect each other.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I have only had great experiences at Kish.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: I have taken most of my A.A.S in Marketing and Management online at Kish. I am extremely used to all the experiences involved with online courses at Kish and I have never had a bad experience to date. The only thing I could say is students should be told that you need some self-discipline to accomplish an online course.

College Senior

Campus Resources: I have not used any of these services but the campus has a really great vibe.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: In the older buildings it is harder to connect to Wifi.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think that the school should lengthen the time available to drop a class and receive all or partial money back.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Classes can be challenging sometimes but I almost feel as if I am still in high school.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: My tuition was completely payed buy my financial aid and volleyball scholarship but that did not including any housing so I have to find money for that on my own.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: There is a wide variety of classes and types of classes such as online or in the classroom.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The process is very slow and bad. Classes are started and you don't have money to buy books. They want too much information. They need more people.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Very active with campus activities and for fly towards one another.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Overall, Kish is a nice set school when it comes to Academics. I can say that each and every teacher whose class I have taken are well informed on the subject they teach.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: Although I never really use career services at Kish, fiends have told me that they have been helped with resumes, mock interviews and more there. I look forward to using the center in my Fall2013 year.

Tuition & Financial Aid: As an independent young man going to a community college away from home, I can honestly say Kishwaukee's Financial Aid resources helps me a lot. With the tuition being so low I am able to pay most of my bills up (rent included) with leftover money. On top of that, when something appears wrong and/or untrue on my financial aid account, I am giving top notch service at both fixing and exposing what the problem is...

Campus Resources: I really enjoy the library on campus! It has a large variety and the staff is very helpful.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Overall Decent – This college is very cheap definitely if all you are doing is getting Gen Eds out of the way. It's easy and offers many online courses. However when applying for the second semester make sure to apply quickly because classes get snatched up very quickly!

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: They redid the parking lots which have made things better. The A parking lot has way to many stop signs though. There isn't much else to say. I didn't get involved at my school.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Getting wifi is a nightmare, the computers in the lab are always occupied and ridiculously slow, it's hard to print because the printers have the most ridiculous names but overall it's acceptable.

4 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: Very easy and simple to use. I never had a problem with my classes nor turning in the assignments. The teachers are very understanding if you have a legitimate reason for wanting to take a test a different time.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: Overall I would give it a B. The teachers do a pretty good job however most of the material isn't new because it's general education. You will learn a few new things but not much. I have had a few cruddy teachers but overall most of them were great and very understanding.
