College Junior

Academic Experience: I ahve not experienced what it is like to be a nursing student at this school at this time.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are really not that many academics offered at this school. You can start your academic career here, but you can only take it so far and then you have to transfer to another campus.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The athletic center for KSU-EL is the YMCA across the street, which you can not utilize unless you are taking a class the requires you to, other than that you have to pay for a membership.

College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Since attending this school, I have always scheduled my life around school. I went from working daylight to working night turn so I could attend college and raise my family.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: This is the only college I have attended and the admissions process was nice and honest about what they wanted.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very reasonable, and the financial aid process is a headache because the financial aid department is located on the main campus and it is a hastle trying to get important papers where they need to be because the main campus is 75 miles away.

College Junior

Facilities: There are really no unique things, it reminds me mostly of high school.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I ahve only taken two online classes towards my degree at Kent State University, they were the most detailed and complete classes. The professors e-mailed you and let you know what they wanted from you, which helped with the learning experience.

College Junior

Career Services: I can not rate the Career Services offered at Kent State University-East Liverpool, because I have never utilized this service offered at this time being.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body at Kent State University- East Liverpool is very diverse. There are many and all types of people attending this university from all over the Ohio valley, some but not limited to: African Americans, Caucasians, Asians, Latinos, Homosexual, Heterosexual, Bisexual, Veterans, and even people that already have careers and degree's that just want to either farther their education or are looking for a change. The diversity here is amazing, it is almost in comparisson to the actual University.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Libraries, computer labs and study spots are all available for long hours daily. Very Good.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: Very good. The alumni network is growing and the chance for new prospects is high.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Being a small regional campus is a challange sometimes to work around other commitments.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I don't think our online courses and instructors could get much better. Excellent!

3 College Freshman

Facilities: The social scene is weak. There is not many spots around the campus for students.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Very easy to register and see adisors and meet with instructors. the library and study rooms are available daily and open for long hours. Computer stations and labs are everywhere.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Mostly ok. There are some classes that are difficult to work around the schedule. The curriculum and workloads are challenging. The facilities are great and the instructors are fantastic.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: All walks of life are represented here.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very affordable compared to other local colleges.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Very friendly, convenient and likeable. A great campus.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Personally, I have some pretty cool friends here at this school, especially the ones in my program. You get pretty close to people whenever you are doing Physical Therapy with them. Physical proximity gets very close. The student body age here runs from 17+, and emphasis on the PLUS. A lot of the people here are either coming back to school for another degree or just going back to school for a whole new degree.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: The East Liverpool campus does not have hardly any campus activities. However, the library and student center is average.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: To me, this internet and wi-fi is great. I have very slow internet at home and whenever I come to school, I really appreciate having fast internet for a change.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: You get what you pay for. It's a cheaper school and you get a degree.

3 College Junior

Facilities: It's a good school if you want to get a University education and degree. I came here for the unique Physical Therapy Assistant degree and there are very few schools, let alone Universities that have this degree. It's a cheaper school and affordable for the average "paying their own way" students. the only thing I would really change is that the East Liverpool campus have more social activities that are fun. Like parties. Not just educational social activities.
