4 College Junior

3 College Junior

4 College Junior

Majors: Appropriately difficult to get into Business school

4 College Junior

Majors: Finance program offers excellent opportunities

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life does not play a big role on campus

2 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Not enough freedom inhibits campus life

4 College Junior

Academics: Finance major, the business school is excellent

3 College Junior

Athletics: Intramurals are good but there is not much varsity

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I use FAFSA student loans. The process was fairly smooth but a little complicated. I received the money necessary to cover tuition

Transportation: Our BOB buses work really well for me, but an adjustment to their running times would be nice. They don't run on weekends, only go to Walmart at certain times, and they stop running pretty early on Fridays. Public transportation seems to be pretty good, too. The CCT goes into Atlanta and all around the Kennesaw area, I think, but I have personally never ridden it.

Weather: It's Georgia, so the weather is bipolar as all get out. There were times this year when it would be absolutely freezing during the week, then pleasant during the weekends. And there's snowpocalypse, of course. Kennesaw gets the same weather as any other school in Georgia, it seems. Except Kennesaw is the real windy city; Chicago has nothing on us.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: I didn't have any kind of issue with financial aid.

Campus Housing: The quality of housing is like no other. Regardless of your age or year, you'll get privacy and a nice living space. BUT it's really expensive. Like, super expensive. And the less expensive the room, the less awesome. That's not to say that any of the dorms are bad, per say, but some of definitely better than others, and the pricing sure reflects that.

College Freshman

Greek Life: I don't really know much about Greek Life. All I really know is that, like the rest of the school, it's growing; we're getting new sororities on campus and experimenting with Greek housing.

3 College Freshman

Academics: There are a lot of different classes from which to choose, whether you want to Spirits, Brews, and Beers class or the How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse class. The only thing is that there are a lot of students enrolled, so classes can fill up really quickly. Administration might want to consider hiring some more professors for the more in demand classes.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: People are pretty nice and open to acquaintanceship, but I'm quiet, shy, and reserved, so I don't talk much.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: KSU is in the metropolitan Atlanta area, so a 30-minute drive will get you everything the city of Atlanta has to offer. There's a mall right near campus that the buses go to, and there are a lot of strip malls with basically anything you could think of. It's a nice little residential area, but traffic can get really, really bad.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I don't really party, so I don't think I'm qualified to answer this.

College Freshman

Athletics: I don't think it's really fair to rate the athletics at KSU right now, because a lot is brewing in this department. Our Rec Center is being upgraded, which is going to be pretty amazing, and we're also getting a football team soon. I think a rating right now would be so subject to change that it wouldn't be relevant in even a few months.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are a LOT of restaurants around campus, ranging from really expensive to super cheap. It's pretty diverse.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: There are a lot of rules for events being held, but I guess it's for the best.

3 College Freshman

Computers: The wifi network, isn't very good, but printers, computers, and tech help are readily available. A personal computer would provide the most convenience, but I'm sure one could get by reasonably well without one.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid process is relatively simple. You fill out one application and you're application is evaluated by all scholarship providers that you qualify for. However, if you don't receive any finical aid through that process, it doesn't seem there are many other opportunities for financial aid.
