5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: What makes my school unique is how much they are organized, truly care about making sure that you are earning your education, and actually learning something, but also being able to enjoy the college experience

Overall Experience: I have had really great professors and been able to truly enjoy learning as a result

Facilities: Facilities are state of the art and definitely treated with care

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I think it is okay, but not all that prominent as other schools which I honestly like

College Sophomore

Majors: I have not had an internship, but I plan to have one before I start my student teaching and I really do not have any concerns with finding an internship because my school really helps you with situations like this

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I enjoy it because I have enjoying learning while having fun while doing so

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: The nightlife is really for those who like to party which I do not do at all

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Academics truly enable you to think more on a critical thinking level and also they create life lessons for not only the classroom, but the outside world

Academics: The unique aspects of the program is being able to truly enjoy it

Scholarships: The financial aid process can be a struggle sometimes. The financial aid office always seems to be busy and when you finally do get through, it's like they have difficulty answering your questions. To this day, I don't know exactly what determines how much financial aid I receive. Like I said, the process can be a bit of a struggle but it's all worth it once you receive the money that you need.

Nightlife: We don't have a good variety of bars in the Kennesaw area. Most of the time, you have to go to Atlanta, which is about 15 minutes away. The on campus parties are usually fun...until the police shut them down. Your best bet is to go to a party off-campus.

Off-Campus Dining: There's pretty much a fast food joint on every corner. McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Chick-fil-a, etc. Most of them are open late which is great! They are all very close as well, so you don't have to travel far for a quick meal.

Health & Safety: Not much crime happens on campus. There are a few robberies/thefts off-campus during the year, but not enough to cause much concern. Kennesaw is a pretty safe city. If you ever feel unsafe or weary about walking home alone, a police-officer or public safety official will be more than happy to walk you or drop you off at your house.

Greek Life: Some greeks are more cliquish and snobby than others. But overall, there is no tension between the greeks and the non-greeks. Greek events don't really affect social atmosphere on campus. Most of the time, only greeks attend greek events. Greeks and non-greeks pretty much keep to themselves.

Campus Strictness: KSU is pretty lenient when it comes to things that other schools may be strict about, like visitation in the dorms. The things that KSU are most strict about include underage drinking, noise violations, and selling/consumption of drugs.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: I love the on-campus housing but it's just a little too expensive. There are a large number of off-campus housing options for students that are cheaper and still close to campus. The campus shuttle makes stops to most of them, so transportation isn't a problem for those who don't have cars.

Athletics: Our school spirit pretty much revolves around how well our sports teams are doing. Our basketball team was pretty crappy this season so the school spirit on campus was pretty much dead. However, the establishment of our football program is getting everyone pumped up again! The better our athletic teams do, the more student and community support our school gets.

Greek Life: A rating and review of Greek life would not be applicable. I am not part of the Greek life, nor do I know anyone personally that is in it.

Guys & Girls: The guys and girls at Kennesaw State University are, for the most part, great. At any school there are always going to be unfriendly, rude students. In my experience the guys and girls are nice, friendly, and helpful. It is very hard to categorize both guys and girls using just the topics of look, interest, dress, social life, and relationships, because all of the students are individuals and should not be categorized by these shallow topics.

College Junior

Campus Dining: I cannot accurately rate and review the campus dining, because I rarely eat on campus.

4 College Junior

Diversity: The campus of Kennesaw State University is diverse in some aspects, and homogenous in other areas. The student body has a diverse economic background. For the most part, the student body's religious background is Christian. There is not a large diversity of sexual orientation but, for the most part, the student body is very accepting of what ever sexual orientation you may be.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I cannot give a accurate review of off campus housing at Kennesaw State University because I have not lived off campus.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are many opportunities for off campus dining at KSU. There is a large variety offering a gamut of food. The off campus dining is fairly convenient, but can very quickly become expensive. Besides fast food restaurants, most of the off campus dining is expensive and adds up quickly.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The overall experience of Kennesaw State University is positive. The quality of the courses and professors are generally very good. In any school, there will always be professors you don't get along with and courses that you find incredibly difficult. The variety of the courses offered is a positive as well. In my experience I enjoyed the class styles and the class sizes in most instances.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The career prospects at Kennesaw State University are good. At least once a semester KSU hold a job fair of sorts. This is a great place to meet various potential employers and ask what they want in a future employee. The career center is also very helpful in setting up opportunities, helping with resume, assisting with job interviews, etc.
