Off-Campus Dining: I know that Waffle House gives a student discount if you show them your ID. I'm still learning the area but so far I've seen a pretty nice variety of places. The Marietta Diner is always amazing and not too far away!

College Freshman

Greek Life: I do not know enough about Greek life to give it a notable review.

Health & Safety: There are posts all around campus with call buttons on them that inform the police when they're pushed. I think it's a great idea and it makes me feel safer on campus knowing that I'm never too far away from one of the call buttons

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The student code is designed to try to help students do their best and succeed.

Athletics: The new rec center is causing a lot of excitement, I think it's an awesome addition. Another cause for excitement is that our school's football team starts playing next year, which will probably boost school spirit even more

Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of apartment complexes around, it was fairly easy for my roommate and me to get an apartment. We reserved one early on, though. I imagine it would be more difficult if one waited too long. The apartment we are in is relatively dated, and we've had a few maintenance problems, but they have been resolved in a relatively timely manner. We enjoy our privacy and the freedom that comes with living off-campus. For example, my roommate was also able to bring her dog to live with her. The apartment is pretty close to campus, so we don't have to drive far, either. There are many pros and cons to living both on and off campus.

Health & Safety: There are emergency buttons located all across campus and campus police patrol often. In contrast, I have a friend that was assaulted at night and the police were slow to arrive. I also feel that if you don't park in a parking deck they have no control over the safety of your car.

Scholarships: It's been perfect for me and lots of others receive refunds on their Higher One cards.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I have never lived in off campus housing myself. This is based off of information given from others and advertisements.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: There is only one late night place to eat and it always has terrible service and so sense of urgency.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There is mainly one club that is close to campus. Then, people just go to Atlanta for clubs.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The rule enforcement depends solely on which building (community) you live in and who your RA is. Parking violations are rarely caught, but they do enforce it. The school takes cheating and suspicions extremely seriously! Teachers use websites that check your writing for similarity (plagiarism). Also, ant time you make a correction, be extremely clear what you're trying to do.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are not very many one-of-a-kind places to eat off campus.

Overall Experience: There are lots of variety when it comes to style of class and sizes, but being able to actually get into a class you want is very competitive. Most professors are very good, some are hard to understand, but it varies from person to person. Some classes are taught straight by the book, while some are based solely on the interpretation of the instructors.

Overall Experience: Career services has lots of opportunities for students like mock interviews and resume help, but it is hard to get an appointment. They also have events where they speak on different topics about getting jobs, interviews and over all advice. Some majors offer internships for credit, but they are extremely competitive to obtain. I don't know about the alumni network. Kennesaw often hosts career fairs, some major specific (like nursing) and some not. They has close to hundreds of different employers looking for future graduates. From small companies to big ones like Turner Broadcasting and WellStar. The career center offers help on how to work these fairs and make sure students are prepared.

Guys & Girls: Kennesaw is full of different types of people and most are friendly and very helpful, even to strangers. There are not an prominent cliques that I have noticed at Kennesaw.

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Lots of different options. I have heard great things from people that participate in Greek life.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Most of the girls and guys are part of a sorority/fraternity so they only tend to associate with other Greeks. The non-Greek girls and guys are more outgoing for the most part. Both genders are pretty easy to get along with.

Facilities: Life at KSU is great! Everything is conveniently located so that students (those that live on and off campus) can easily access the resources they need. KSU is always in the middle of building something, so most of our buildings/facilities are relatively new. A few of the original buildings are still standing but they have been renovated of course.

Campus Dining: Our Commons is ranked as one of the best in the nation! There's a variety of food and the quality is great. It has everything from vegan/vegetarian food, pizza, burgers, Asian cuisine, Mexican food, desserts, etc. The choices are endless! One swipe gets you an "all you can eat" experience.

Greek Life: I see Greek life at school but other than parties I don't really hear or see them doing anything, but then again I am not part of the Greek life so I am unaware of what they actually do for the community.

Campus Dining: The food and dining in the Commons area is absolutely delicious and with our own farm we know that our products are organic and healthy. Everything is delicious, I have never step foot in there and not found something to scarff down my face.

Off-Campus Housing: ***STEER CLEAR of The Collegiate! The leasing agents will tell you anything to get you to sign the lease---INCLUDING that the lease is NOT in affect until you put your money down---NOT when/if you sign it. Then try to change your mind and BAM! You signed!!

My leasing agent lied about just about EVERYTHING! Security officers were supposed to be RESIDENTS and on duty 24 hours where in reality, from January to July there were NONE responding to calls! The county police dept had to be called.

MARIJUANA stench is as common all through the complex as air is plentiful---the office does nothing about it. Current security officers ARE working on it, but not hard enough.

We had NO POOL from 6 pm to 8 AM from May to July 8. The office amenities----computer lab, and pool table are NOT AVAILABLE from the time the office closes till it opens in the morning. The gym is NO WHERE as nice as photos make it look---they were photographed at an angle where equipment looks doubled!

UTILITIES ARE OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH HERE FOR ENERGY STAR APPLIANCES which are 1 year old!

Facilities: ...you really do need to see it and experience it to believe it! We have been consistently growing in our 50 years beginning in 1963 as Kennesaw College!
