4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The campus rules or how strict they are with rules just benefit the students who attend. Living on kean campus I have never felt unsafe which was on of my biggest worries moving in my freshman year. My great experience has led me to live on campus this coming up semester.

Campus Strictness: As a commuter student I am not up to date with how they handle residents of the university, however, I have been required to complete numerous alcohol and drug related seminars as well as sexual assault related seminars. These all enforced the strict rules and consequences regarding the topics.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Kean has rules and policies like every other school. Some of them can be a bit over the top but others are for safety and needed on campus

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I used to live on campus, and I remember they were very strict about everything. As for parking lot since it's a hassle to find parking in the morning students usually park in the faculties spots and when they return they recieve a ticket of $50. Yes, the Kean Police do not play, they are doing their job.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: In the new dorms you can't do anything that creates any type of noise. You can't even dead bolt your doors open. They're insane. They're really hotels. The older dorms aren't that bad. People skip class ALL the time. Attendance really doesn't mean anything. A lot of my professors are really crazy about cheating. You have to sign in ANYONE that isn't a student that wants to come into your dorm. Even 3 year olds. You have to fill out a form in advance and have all your roommates sign it, annoying but I know it's for my safety.
