5 College Freshman

Academics: As a design major I feel like I have a lot of internship opportunities, because of the proximity to NYC and that most of the design professors are adjunct and are currently working in the field that I want to be in in the future. As far as the program goes it is great. The workload isn't that bad, because it's all art related which is what I love so it's not really work. The new Green Lane building has a whole floor specifically for design and is absolutely beautiful.

Academics: I do not know considering I am not on the actual campus.

5 College Freshman

Academics: Although I'm only in my first year, when I tell people I am a speech major, the typical response I get is "good luck". It frightens me but I know it'll all be worth it in the end. Kean University is a great place for majoring in Speech

5 College Junior

Academics: I am a history major and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the professors in the department. They are accomplished and beyond knowledgable in their fields but always pushing their students to be better and strive for more. I questioned my decision to return back to school and a professor that I had my first semester back became my mentor and if it wasn't for her then I probably would not have the goals and ambitions that I do today.

Academics: When searching for colleges , the main factor that affected my decision was actually the program that was available for my intended major. My school is known to be among the best for its Education program. I do enjoy speaking with my advisor about my progress and plans. My professors so far have been very helpful and the workload has been challenging but not overwhelming in my opinion. Although I am only in my first year of this program I do know Alumni who testify for the great internships and job oppurtunities that they have received from this university.
