College Junior

Career Services: I haven't completed my coursework yet to be able to review post-grad services and career center options.

Academic Flexibility: Getting started at this school was quite easy. The admissions adviser was clear with the requirements to attend as was the FA adviser. Once my transcripts were in their hands, they have them reviewed and approved very quickly. I was able to start classes within two weeks.

Student Body: I have only interacted with fellow MBA students throughout my courses. We must participate in discussion boards, group projects, and can email each other as needed. Everyone has been hard working and willing to assist where they can if a classmate asks for help. We don't get to see each other, but there is quite a bit of conversation in the seminars, discussion boards, and projects.

Campus Resources: I don't go to the campus very often, but was there for enrollment and then orientation. It's very clean, modern, has a library, computer labs, and access to anything a student would need to succeed.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The computers and network are reliable and easy to access.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Their online courses really are great, the interface is easy to navigate and all information needed for class is right there. It's also sectioned into manageable parts including easy submission of assignments. The professor is easy to contact through the classroom or by email, and all professors so far have been very responsive and helpful.

Overall Experience: Overall my experience has been very good. I have learned a lot through the first 5 courses I've completed. One recommendation is to require accounting before starting the MBA. They don't have this as a prerequisite but should, because I've struggled with accounting calculations and have to scramble to learn just enough on my own to get through. If I could do this over again, since I don't have any background in accounting I would take accounting 1 and 2, then start my MBA.

Facilities: It's all online, that's why so many people choose it for graduate degrees because it can fit into their schedules with work and life. It's still very challenging and requires a lot of discipline to learn on your own without in-class interaction. Not everyone can succeed in this type of program, but I like it a lot. They offer job placement assistance and networking opportunities. They also work with the local SBA and host seminars from them on campus.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid was easy to get. The FA person I worked with was very helpful, clearly explained everything, and answered all of my questions or obtained answers and sent them to me via email. Tuition is expensive, but I was able to get a discount through my job as a partner with the school. If you want to save money on your MBA, you can skip the specialty, it's not required and there's a lot of great information learned in the MBA courses without the specialty.

Online Courses: Online course provide greater flexibility to a demanding life. I love that as long as you have internet access you can advance your education. Plus the university offers apps so you can gain access to you classroom from various electronic devices.

College Junior

Campus Resources: Do not attend campus, strictly online courses.

4 College Junior

Career Services: They afford great Master's Degree programs and career assistance center and programs that include live webinar with outside agency on job finding and career options.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I love the classes and their flexibility. It has been a god sent with helping me completing my degree due to having a very busy schedule as a active duty military member with a young infant, being the head of the household in a foreign country, and all while continuing to meet the demands of getting the mission done at work.

2 College Freshman

Online Courses: I was bored in a lot of my classes. The professors teach like they are talking to 2 year olds most of the time.

2 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I got mostly As and Bs in all of my classes. I am transferring to the University of Tennessee next year and they have informed me that they will accept all of my credits, but not my classes, so I am going to end up having to retake a lot of the classes i already paid for. The class schedules really were flexible but transfer credits are horrible.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The computer network on campus seems sufficient though I have not had much use for it. I have used the lab a couple of times when I was unable to work at home but have done most of my class work on my own computer. The lab is useful for printing things out or if help is needed on an assignment.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: I feel like I am getting a good education but since my classes are all online there really is no interaction with other students or with staff.

4 College Junior

Career Services: At first my experience with Kaplan was really bad. Come to find out it was not the normal for them and my next term I have had nothing but the best to say about them. They are all there for me!

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I love Kaplan, and everything about the school. This includes the flexibility that they offer. I have never had any issues with things. When I need to schedule a class, have a question anything they are there no matter what time. Email, live chat, on phone or online. It is a great school.

4 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: I had a bad experience with one online instructor and notified my advisor. Nothing was done about it, they just made a note of the instructor's name in case future issues happened with students. I was not impressed with a lot of classes I took online. It seemed like it was all about seeing which instructor could create the longest reading list requirement for each week. I did enjoy some classes that made me think outside the box and learn new topics to discuss.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Never had a problem...they always were there to answer any questions I had. Which were very few.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I just really love it here. It's an education I can earn on my time - which is very valuable with 4 children!

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Professor's are understanding and work with you if you talk to them. Communication is essential!

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is higher then most colleges, but all of our books are included so the only real thing that you have to purchase for your class is your pen and paper.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: The course load is just what should be expected for a college level class. Registration was a breeze and there are so many various options to do on campus as well as off campus. Your advisor lets you know what your best options are before the final decision is made.
