Tuition & Financial Aid: Hidden fees for summer courses

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Teachers were flexible as long as we were still learning what we needed.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: When I had financial aid it covered everything and more and I loved it. Tuition itself isn't too expensive, it is bearable.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: The only negative thing about online courses are not being very clear about what things are de and when. It's sometimes hard to find some assignments.

College Freshman

Career Services: I am not aware of any post-grad services.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I absolutely love the field I am going into. The workload can sometimes be overwhelming but it's something that is expected in this field. I knew this major was going to be a lot of work and the workload is actually rewarding. Knowing that I can survive in one of the most difficult fields is very rewarding.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There are so many knowledgable personal in the field at this school. The faculty in the medical field are very smart and know the subject very well, which in turn helps me to pursue my dreams. This school offers a great variety of programs to get you into whatever you dream of doing. Also, this school has great study areas to assure that you do very well. They offer a number of tutor sessions and great help.

Student Body: There is a great variety of students here. You have the people that are to themselves and people that are very outgoing. A lot of my classmates are very intelligent and very focused. I love the student body here.

Facilities: Kapiolani really helps to keep me focused. I like that I can go there and not have to worry about socializing. I look at college as the get in, get what I need to be done finished, and get out. I like that I can do what I need and get out asap.

Academic Flexibility: Concerning the transferring of credits from one college to another or to a school of any kind I have no experiences. I have heard horror stories from those that have not completed their basics college degree at Kapiolani Community College and have transferred to mainland colleges resulting in little to no credits transferred over.

Kapiolani Community College classes and curriculum offer a wide verity of directions to go in. The only hassles and frustrations come out of a lack of maiinland varity of classes in depth speshinlyt classes are limited to colinary and healthcare.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial Aid was the best for students because they can get grant to pay their tuitions in school.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Everyone in my program knows everyone else. The teachers are very helpful and friendly

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: There are many different programs available. The teachers are knowledgeable and friendly

3 College Senior

Online Courses: I just signed up for It to get enough credits

5 College Senior

Facilities: The culinary and pastry program are excellent. They compost and have a sustainable garden

3 College Senior

Career Services: We have a bulletin outside our department advisor's office where jobs are posted

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The library has been under construction for most of the year but you still can go inside, although I haven't yet. Student center is where the first year counselors are located which I've visited twice and been able to have a walk in appointment with my counselor.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I use my laptop so I haven't had to go to the computer lab. There are printers in nearly every classroom and are free if you bring your own paper. The wireless access can time out and is not accessible from one building.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I have not yet taken online classes at this college.

College Freshman

Career Services: The career services would be located at the main campus at the University of Hawaii which is the parent school of KCC.
