3 College Junior

Nightlife: There are usually school parties every weekend, not a crazy scene. Definitely a great bar scene downtown. Many people congregate more regularly in smaller numbers it seems.

4 College Senior

Nightlife: Kalamazoo has a lot of bars that each have a unique appeal. If you are not old enough for the bars, there are always weekend parties and the month of may is known for the event 30 kegs in 30 nights with a kegger every day. Transportation is needed to get most places for underage students but many places are still within walking distance. Compared to most big universities, parties are extremely close by.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: Stick to House Parties – House parties are free and drinks is accessible and cheap. However, there is not always dancing (turn off for me!) and parties aren't always hopping. However, everything is only 5 minutes walking distance! And the cops never bust the parties because they're too busy dealing with reckless Westen kids...yeee

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: Close and Fun – The parties at K are smaller but fun. Since it's a small school you know a lot of people there and they are great ways to get to know your classmates and hang out with friends. All of the parties are within a 15 minutes walk and most are within a 5 minute walk. Alcohol and weed is easy to get if you want some. The Bars are average but since Kalamazoo also has Western the city is hopping at night. Most things are within reasonable walking distance so it makes it easy and cheap to get around

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: No Clubs – Don't go clubbing, there arent really any for people under 21. There is usually house parties all weekend, and those are the biggest events. Western Michigan is across the street if you want more as well
