4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: So far my experience with my school has been awesome. Few minor initial setbacks when enrolling but once that was handled everything has been smooth sailing. I would absolutely do it all over again and continue my studies at JIU.

Student Body: The diversity of my school is wide because this is a online based campus so there are people in my classes from across the United States and the World. This makes it more exciting to me as a student because everyone brings something else to the table.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am a student having to pay fully out of pocket for my classes and I believe the education is worth it but the costs are pretty expensive for me. Costing me around $1600.00 per class.

Online Courses: Taking the online classes has made it easy for me to refocus on obtaining my degree in business and with my professors as well as classmates help with assignments I am looking forward to successfully achieving my goals for education.

Academic Flexibility: Jones International University has made it easy to get me started back on track for my degree. My only complain is the transfer of credits process, transferring from UOP Previously only about half of my credits were able to follow over to the JIU Curriculum.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I like the activities because it relates to assignments one might have to do on the job. The faculty members are very support and the grading is fair.

Academic Experience: An online tutoring service is available for free to all students who need it. I've used it a few times and it was very helpful.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think I'm receiving a quality education at JIU. The only issue i have with financial aid is the loan options. I can't seem to find a loan provider that works with this school. My only options are private loans and scholarships, or pay out of pocket.

Student Body: Some of the students in each of the classes are very chatty and others are not. When you do find someone to interact with on classwork the support is awesome.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I found the process to be the same at any university. The one thing I have to say is that when I spoke with financial aid they also provided me with a web site that offered scholarships.

Academic Experience: Depending on the instructor and type of class sometimes the work load can be over whelming. But if you speak with the professor they usually work with you.

Campus Resources: I had to supply my own computer at home due to online courses I am taking.

Career Services: Once I knew what course of action I was able to take the intake person was able to set me up with the necessary personnel and got things started.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I recently had to take a short leave due to my FBI background being held up due to my records being sealed from being an adopted child. Coming back has been an issue that I wish I had never had to deal with. My student services person seems to be dragging her feet. She never seem to have any answers for me and says she will email me information and I have yet to see it. My previous student services person was awesome. He would get things done for me and answer all my questions immediately. I never had a problem. My main concern is that they keep changing my student services person without notifying me when this happens.

College Freshman

Facilities: Due to the fact that I am doing my course work online I have not seen the campus.

Online Courses: My experience at JIU has been one of convenience and necessity due to my work schedule. I have found the instructor to be easy to work with and encouraging when you are struggling. They will work with you when the time arises.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I have no interaction with other majors. There are no internships that I am aware of. The workload is overly demanding.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It is all set up, I have to just fill in the blanks - go to class, do the work.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Finding it hard as a non traditional student to find my way. Struggling!

2 College Sophomore

Facilities: It makes me feel very left out. There is nobody there to help when needed, have to wait.
