Diversity: The diversity here at Johnson is mostly white. There are a few more colored people but they are usually associated with sports. Everyone at that school is accepted though. Weather you are white, black , Mideastern, Spanish, gay, or even lesbian. People tend to not really believe in religion to much. They go on with life day by day. Vermont itself can be a very racist state in some places. My roommate told me that he would not take me to certain parts because they would not accept my kind over there. Overall Johnson is a friendly state and a great college.

Majors: Its not to hard to get into the program. It is just once you get in you have to be committed and make sure you work hard because the work load can be a little difficult. The challenges you may encounter may be the fact that you have to study a lot. Johnson can be such a beautiful place that most people would rather be outside and hang out with their friends rather then study at times.

Majors: I love the health and exercise program at our school. I am a college athlete as I stated earlier, learning how to repair the body at its finest is such an interesting fact to me. I love being able help others repair their body or even relay the information on what they should do. I love learning about the body and how it can crumble down in one second or how it can hold you up in the most harsh conditions. The workload can be a lot at times and be to much but it is all worth it in the end. The facilities here at Johnson are very nice. Everything from the microscopes to the heart monitors. Jobs and internships open up widely through this field because there is such a huge demand for this area.

Campus Strictness: It can be strict at times. Some people are rushing at times to get to class and may get a ticket because they parked in the wrong area. The worst is in the dorms when you have a to pay a fee for someone else messing up. Public safety can be strict at times and I realize they are doing there jobs to keep up safe but sometimes it can be a little to much. They don't let you miss class to much either or your grade drops. If you cheat you can be kicked out of the class or maybe even the school.

Academics: I think it is a great environment to be around. Everybody wants to see you succeed in that field especially your teachers. I being a college athlete I would say being around sport science is a blessing. Learning how to help the body recover at the best way possible is a benefit for any athlete. The workload can be a lot at times and it can take time because of all the studying but once you accomplish it you feel great about yourself. You feel like you learn so much and the crazy thing about it is that you retain so much. There are parts where you get to have a hands on day where you would tape someones hand or ankle, or get your blood tested, or even check your po2! The health teachers are also so nice. If you actually take the time out to talk to them you can see how much they actually want to help you and send you of in the right direction.
