Academic Experience: I cannot go far here at John Tyler with my major. They only offer a limited amount of courses and soon I am going to have to transfer.

Academic Experience: The professors at John Tyler are awful. Well, MOST of them. The professors do not know how to effectively teach their subject. It's bad to the point where I have to teach myself and go to outside sources to learn the information in order to pass the exams. Given, this does not pertain to ALL professors who are employed at John Tyler. You would expect to go to a college to learn from a graduated, well taught professor who knows the subject like the back of their hand. That's not what they have at John Tyler from my experience here.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It is my first year but so far the workload is not that bad.

Academic Experience: General studies was the perfect major for me to transfer with because it stills leaves my options open to change my career path. The staff at John Tyler are very helpful with figuring out what you think you would like to do. They always have open arms for students.
