3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Einstein's is really good but the car didn't have many options when it came to vegetarian eating.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Dining: It was decent. I wished there was more variety of places to use our meal plan because the cafeteria got old and Einsteins/Inn-between were expensive.

1 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: I hate all the food on campus. All of it. I would rather have my own kitchen and ditch the terrible meal plan. Beware the tasteless and fatty food.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: It's possible to get by on it.

1 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The staff is very friendly and take good care of the cafeteria, but the food just isn't very good. There isn't much variety, and the quality just isn't very high. Pizza, hamburgers, grilled chicken, and french fries are offered almost everyday and rarely substituted with another option.

Most students are somewhere in the middle about the food at John Carroll. Although the dining hall food may be better than offerings at other schools, most students wish there were more options. Schott Dining Hall is very nicely built and has some variety, but all of the food seems to be soaked in grease or covered in salt before being served. The best food on campus is at Einstein Bros. Bagels, Java City, and the Inn Between, so basically everywhere but the dining hall. Not having 24-hour food locations is probably one of the biggest complaints on campus. Students wish they could find something to eat late at night without leaving campus.

Despite all of the negative talk about the dining hall, Schott does have its good days. The best foods are the pierogies, the mac and cheese, Buffalo chicken wraps, ravioli, and grilled cheese.
