College Junior

Academic Experience: My major is not offered at my school but I am getting the education that I need to pursue the degree I need to complete my degree at my next college.

Academic Experience: My school has a lot to offer and the work load can be tedious. Allowing yourself a plan at the beginning with great communication with the faculty and administration will to get the full education. The offer vet technology, mechanic, nursing, paramedic, fire fighting, general education, and many many more.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been excellent. Being a student, a full time single mother, and working full time is very challenging. My school has helped me in guidance so I can better myself for me and my child. They have helped me plan my school schedule according to my life as a mother and my life as a worker. The program that I am involved in "Project Success" allows me to continue my education at ease. Having a plan and guidance that allows me to continue at ease but with confidence in knowing my next step. This allows me to plan my future with not only my education but with my personal life as well. I continue at ease.

Student Body: I think my school is pretty diverse. Students are very friendly and come together with in our studies. We are all there for one purpose and the is education. I believe that majority of the students are very focused on their studies and are gaining knowledge that not only helps ourselves but can also help each other with future studies. Every student has their our image and to me it doesn't seem that anyone is looked at any different than another. Education, school, and you social time is all what you put into it as well as balancing between them.

Campus Resources: Anytime I have needed anything everyone was more than willing to help answer or guide me in the right direction. The faculty, advisors, and the students. I could not ask for a better experience thus far with my current college.

Facilities: My school has programs set up that help guide each student in different ways. For instance I am in the project success. I meet with my advisor monthly to go over future plans and this allows me to relax knowing that I have a plan set forth in my academics. It allows me to also discuss any concerns that I have with excellent guidance. My school also offers many different activities that can involve just about anyone on campus. This allows us as individuals to come together as a group with similar interests and interaction. There are many different options on campus that could involve each individual if they choose to be involved.

Online Courses: Some classes that I have taken were excellent and the teacher response was very prompt. Other classes that I have taken it took way too long to get a response. Sometimes the responses would be after the assignment that the students were asking about was already passed due. So I felt like sometimes I didn't get to get the assignment or test's finished with my best efforts. The work is more intense because it seems to me that there is more that needs to be completed. I believe that you can get a better education by actually being in the classroom but sometimes the additional online classes may work around your personal schedule a little better depending on what is going on in your personal life.

Career Services: The school goes over our options with the different types of schools that offer your interest. We currently have a person in staff that does help with resumes and guiding you into finding the right job.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think it is pretty straight forward and the financial aid department helps out tremendously. The tuition is not an outrageous price either.

Campus Resources: Computers are always nice, new and updated with the technology needed for classes. everything In the tech department is always awesome when I use it. No complaints

Campus Resources: Athletic center could use a lot of cleaning and work. The work out equipment is outdated and gross. I don't work out in there because its not kept up to date. Library is always great, even when its crowded there's always enough computers to get your work done. There's several places to study with a group, rooms that you can go in to have privacy and even small couches that you can relax on. There a lack to almost no campus activities. Its lame

Tuition & Financial Aid: Jefferson college is very good about helping you get the help you need for tutoring. I have never had a problem with tutoring or with financial aid, its always there when it should be there and there's always someone to answer my questions if I have questions or concerns

Facilities: Jefferson college is a convenient college right down the street for majority of the people. There's a variety of people that go there for different reasons, If you work, have families, ect. then its a good place to start. But The college is dull, there's not many activities on campus and barley ever any sporting events. For young adults that want the college experience this might not be for you or it could be a good stepping stone in your education while things are being figured out.

College Freshman

Campus Resources: I attend the Arnold campus so I am not familiar with the athletic centers.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: There are computer labs, book store, printers, library, and many other technological advances through campus resources.
