4 College Freshman

Athletics: Jacobs' athletic scene is exceptional! You can really feel the school spirit.

College Sophomore

Majors: I haven't engaged in an intersnhsip yet.

1 College Sophomore

Majors: Never never again. I love Computer Science, but when it's presented the way it is at Jacobs, it makes you never want to look at CS again. Fortunately, I'm too interested in robotics and programming in general to give up my CS major, so I'll still be majoring in CS when I transfer out of Jacobs.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Parties are okay sometimes, a lot of people may end up attending. Other than that, nightlife is just up to you to pursue. Lots of drinking though.

1 College Sophomore

Majors: They just want money, so of course they're going to accept the applicants who can pay the most now.

1 College Sophomore

Majors: CS program here just sucks, plain and simple. Workload is too high, you have to take a lot of classes each semester (at least 6) to remain competitive, there is an extremely competitive atmosphere.

If you don't get something, you better figure it out yourself, basically.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Public transportation is decent, so no complaints here.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: The off campus housing is hellishly expensive so unless you got that kind of money, I wouldn't suggest it.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Students here usually keep to themselves, very few open up about anything. Guys here are definitely less attractive than the girls. There a good amount of couples on campus, and sometimes they're mixed up.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Don't want drugs? Fine. It can be found, regardless. Beer is what is always available, wherever you go.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: Diversity is one of the only good things on this campus. You can find people from a lot of countries here. The only downside is that they mostly stick together.

1 College Sophomore

Academics: I'm majoring in Computer Science and all my professors are way in over their heads. They expect you to know A LOT coming in. You're not even allowed to take some classes related to CS (like Python programming) just because it's considered too easy/simple for a CS major. The professors are also hard to understand and absolutely dull. They will not remember you or your name, just your matriculation number. Honest.

1 College Sophomore

Academics: Need I say more at this point? DON'T COME TO JACOBS. If you want to be a CS major, definitely don't! Worst decision ever.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: Average facilities, they are a young university (about 10 years old), so if you're expecting a lot, it's just not happening.

College Sophomore

Facilities: The only thing unique are the number of different countries represented and how poor the academic quality is here.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: No Greek life. There are just people who isolate themselves based on where they come from. Georgians sit with the Georgians at lunch, Chinese with Chinese, Germans with German, Romanians with Romanians. You have to be either open minded or lack anyone similar to you to be able to integrate yourself with people with different cultures, because most people just stick to people from their country.

1 College Sophomore

Weather: Bremen is cold, rainy, and overall very dreary most days. It turns pitch dark at about 4 pm most of the winter so just be aware of that.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Don't have a car, but there have been no complaints about parking.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I got a pretty alright scholarship and still have to pay a crap ton of money for health insurance, bank account, traveling, dining, laundry etc. Euros have much more value than US dollars so you best be rich if you want to come here because I'm pretty much broke now and I barely had that much money in the first place.

1 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Boring as hell. People here are not willing to chat to you about anything. Nothing to do in Bremen, really.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I've never had any problems with housing. Dorms are spacious, there's a shared bathroom, and frankly, no one bothers you.

2 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Health insurance is expensive to get here, but overall safety is not an issue. Crime is really low in Bremen because there's nothing to do here.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Barely anyone here has any school spirit, so yeah it's alright.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Cost can be pricey but still if you go far away enough, you can find some great food options.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: There are limitations on what you can spend with your meal plan money, but other than that, dining satisfies the average joe.
