3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I do not participate in parties, but I have heard many other students talk about them. Underage drinking appears to be a huge problem at JSU.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There isn't always something going on at night, at least not during the week. But at the end of the week, Thursday-Saturday, there are always things to do. Especially if there are parties or events.

Nightlife: Not many bars around the town. Not much of a partier, anyway, but a bowling alley or something would be nice.

Nightlife: The place dies and dies HARD at night. There is _NO_ nightlife to speak of around here, and the bus line, the "Gamecock Express", does not run after 9pm. Luckily for me, nightlife is not an issue, as I'm not exactly the kind of guy who has a life. (!)

College Sophomore

Nightlife: I do not participate in JSU's nightlife. I do know of many underage drinkers. Stores all around JSU sell and advertise alcohol. Transportation after hours is slim-to-none, from what I heard. Again, I cannot rate this area because I have not experienced it. The closest nightclubs are in Birmingham, AL, which is counties away. There are a few rough, old-man-looking bars around town.
