Campus Strictness: Generally, if you don't raise hell then the UPD will leave you alone. However, the parking around here is downright awful. The UPD are absolutely nuts about issuing fine after fine after fine. The parking zones are very poorly laid out- it appears to have been an attempt to force students to use the buses, which isn't a bad thing IMO, but the parking zones are ludicrous for anyone except commuters, visitors and faculty, and even then they're unable to park anywhere on the main circle. Students and faculty are also hurt but not being able to park anywhere close to the stadium and/or other sports arenas on campus.

Campus Strictness: It's really strong, but as a student I'm not sure if that's a good or bad rating. I know one thing you likely won't get by with cheating in any class, but you have no shot at parking in the wrong zone even for just ten minutes without getting a parking ticket.

Campus Strictness: If you miss a specific number of classes, you automatically fail the class. But you are warned far ahead of time, so that's not a problem with most students. I personally have no problem with the attendance policy. JSU's PD make their entire freaking livings off of parking tickets! I got a ticket last week for parking 17 minutes in a 15-minute parking zone--and I was walking to my car with both hands full of heavy art supplies and portfolios. I actually have never seen a JSU cop be nice to anybody. Ever. At all. Seriously. And I'm not a problematic student. They seriously do treat everyone like criminals.

Campus Strictness: Students can't stand the campus police.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Parking is a big deal. The JSU police department will get you if you park in the wrong color zone.
