Transportation: Transportation is not that difficult in Jackson, MS. That's why it is very important if you do not have a vehicle that you meet people with a vehicle. Jackson State University does supply shuttles to take u to off campus classes but not around tge Jackson area.

Transportation: Sometimes it runs according to the schedule however it solely depends on the driver

Transportation: Jacksonville State University has a number of transportation buses. One of the buses can take students to Wal-Mart and back. Another will carry students to and from bars, eliminating the possibility of drunk driving.

Transportation plays an important role in college life. Many students take random road trips or just like to go home every once in a while. Jackson offers public transportation for students who do not own a car or those who would just like to save gas. Many students rely on the JATRAN bus system to get them to their destinations. It is a reliable service, and it goes just about everywhere in Jackson. The University offers a shuttle service for those who need to get to an off-campus class or maybe need a ride to Wal-mart. In case of emergency, the campus police will escort you off campus to the local hospital.

It is very important to have reliable transportation while in Jackson. Everything that you need close by for your convenience. Traffic stops and checkpoints are common for those who are driving illegally or under the influence. You will get a ticket.
