Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus housing is poor in some cases and good in others. Since my school is considered to be I the ghetto,it is not as safe to live off campus than on campus. In a place called the Sade's students get robbed and beat up constantly just by walking from the school to their housing. The good of this place is having privacy, the cost is not too high, and it is less than five minutes away as a walk.

Off-Campus Housing: The pros and cons of staying off campus would definitely help you make a decision.

Pros- More Freedom, as far as you being able to do what you want and have whoever you want visit you unlike staying on-campus. Also, you have a kitchen, meaning you have a stove and bigger refrigerator, whereas on campus you onlyhave a microwave to cook with.

Cons- People have a better chance of robbing you.

Your meal plan become cancelled

    Best Off-Campus Housing Options

Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The university offers off-campus housing for those students who chose not to live on campus. The Palisades is located right outside the campus gates for convenience towards the students. Each student who desires to live in the apartment has an opportunity to apply, and if space allows, they are granted an apartment.

Upon entrance, there are a few fees you must pay and contracts to fill out. This apartment can be paid through financial aid, and out-of-pocket rent is also permitted. If you apply before a special deadline, the Palisades offers a discount toward the rent.
