3 College Senior

Greek Life: There are some Greeks that are cool to hang out with and some are not, because they might think they're better than the non-Greeks. Not all Greeks are the same.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life is very great at my school. I am a member of the lovely dovely women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. I crossed in the spring of 2013 and I am the ACE of my line. Greeks around our campus play a huge rule because we are not just about throwing parties and stepping we strive to help our community as well as our campus. We do several different community services such as visiting nursing homes, cleaning up our community and our campus, visiting schools, and several others. However, being Greek does not get u any high class dorm privileges. Greeks on the Jackson a state University campus strive for work.

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greeks have no special housing at JSU. They have different plots for each fraternity and sorority. The Greeks here are involved in community service and they host events, but when you compare JSU Greeks to other school's Greeks ours fall short. Greek weeks and step shows are quite boring, Some people in the fraternities and sororities are initiated for the wrong reasons, and some members do not at all exemplify what their fraternity/sorority stands for. It's basically like a big popularity contest.

College Freshman

Greek Life: I have no idea how Greeks are like. I have no friends that are Greek.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I am not in a sorority, but I know girls that are and they are very nice. They do not seem to care whether a person is a Greek or not.

Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

At JSU, everybody is somebody special, Greek or not. Social gatherings such as parties, forums, and outings are usually sponsored by Greeks. Although Greek serves a purpose in the community and surrounding areas, everybody does not desire to become Greek.

The relationship between the Greeks and non-Greeks is normal, but non-Greeks give much respect to Greeks. Rush occurs in the spring, and everyone takes it seriously. Even non-Greeks understand how the letters they are striving for is a lifetime achievement.
