Tuition & Financial Aid: The cost for classes are very reasonable.

Campus Resources: Resources and staff are very much ready to help where they can.

Career Services: From what I have seen so far the career services if fairly useful.

Academic Flexibility: One of the reasons that I choose Ivy Tech was the flexible classroom schedules. I was working full time days and I needed night classes. I was able to do all my prerequisites at night. I have also been able to take classes at different campus when needed and summer classes are available as well. They make it easy to work around your schedule.

Academic Experience: I got accepted in the nursing program at Ivy Tech and it was tough to get in. There are not a lot of spots available and they use a point system based on your grades and TEAS test score to determine who gets in. You pretty much have to have straight A's to get in.

Academic Experience: All the professors that I have had has been great. They all seemed to have my best interest in mind and I always got help when I needed it. Some classes can be tough to get into, like A&P, and you have to be put on a wait list. The key is to register early.

Campus Resources: Ivy tech has a lot to offer students if they want to be involved! They have a variety of sports teams like basketball, softball, and bowling.Their libraries are top notch with all the amenities to assist you in getting your assignments complete like computers, copiers, and books for research. Also they provide free tutoring. My favorite is the student activities board. They plan get togethers for the students to meet and do things around the community. This is a great way to meet new people with your same interest.

Student Body: I have had a great experience with getting to know the students at Ivy Tech. I have attended classes at three different locations and each experience has been a positive one. I have been able to form study groups and have made many friends along the way. Ivy Tech has many different students from different cultures and backgrounds. The one thing we have in common is that we all are trying to better our lives by getting the education we need to succeed.

Academic Experience: Overall the Graphic Design program has been fun and interesting. The curriculum has been really fun and I've learned alot. And I love being around computers and designing.

Academic Experience: Everything has been really easy for registration and signing up for classes. Advisors have been real helpful and understanding towards what I want in my career.

Online Courses: Online classes are easier for me to take, and so far my online professors have been great so far.

Academic Experience: My entire goal at Ivy Tech was to take the required General Education courses, and then either transfer to IUPUI or take classes at both Campuses simultaneously. Because of this, I never really explored any of the programs or majors. The workload and class curriculum are quality, however. Ivy Tech has worked extensively with IUPUI to make sure that the classes offered will transfer.

Academic Experience: At Ivy Tech, all the professors are contracted, not direct employees, and so truly need to excel to keep teaching. What is great about this, is the fact that the teachers are more student oriented and willing to do everything they can to help the students succeed and learn.

Overall Experience: The advisor that I had for my original setup was a little helpful, but she had a tendency to repeat herself frequently. All of the self-serve online systems function well, though take a little learning to figure out.

Student Body: The student body at Ivy Tech is not always a cohesive unit. To be fair, however, it is a Community College, and because of this there is a lot of diversity in the school in all fields, which leads to a lot of people just burying their heads in their books.

Academic Flexibility: Ivy Tech is a wonderful school for education. They offer the same class many times throughout the day and at different campuses, even during the summer. Also, the teachers are not fans of keeping up with the most current edition of a text-book, and as far as I've encountered, happily allow you to use most editions of the textbook for the class.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Thankfully, I have not had to deal with the Financial Aid department at Ivy Tech yet. However, tuition costs are phenomenal. My current cost per credit hour was around $120 (summer 2014) which just cannot be beat without aid. Also, all of the professors are lenient on which edition of the books you can have, which helps keep that cost down as well.

Facilities: Ivy Tech is a great school for those who are looking to save money and still get a quality education. However, those looking for the most up-to-date or highest end of anything will be sorely lacking here. This is definitely a budget school focused on education.

Campus Resources: I love the fact that they have tutoring class rooms. The helpers in the math tutoring was very friendly and always willing to help. I don't think I would have done as good in my last math class if they were not there.

Academic Flexibility: I have not had any problems with scheduling classes my advisor has been great with that. My problem had been with the financial aid department giving my wrong information.
