Online Courses: Am not taking online courses

Career Services: Since the moment I walked in to the school for information on degrees and programs, I have never had to sit and wait for answers or assistance for any questions, paperwork, or academic-related processes. Everything has been thoroughly explained to me about the steps necessary to obtain my degree, and in most cases, questions or concerns I may have had were answered prior to having to be asked. I wouldn't chose any other school knowing what personal attention I would be missing out on from here.

Academic Experience: We had some really good teachers that went out of their way to help us learn. We had a few that didn't seem to care as long as the day got over. There were more than one that had no business teaching at all, and even a couple who's English was so bad you couldn't even understand them. On one occasion I didn't get all of the course material until 9 weeks into a 12 week course. On another the power points were 1 to 2 weeks behind what we were supposed to be covering so didn't have the knowledge necessary to complete the labs effectively. This is what i call a paper for paper school. I would only suggest ITT to someone already working or knowledgeable in their field and is only trying to advance their pay scale or something with a degree.

Career Services: It's a good department with good people, but their employment options aren't the greatest. Anyone can get a job flipping burgers. We don't need Career Services for that.

Online Courses: Didn't take their online courses, and i suggest no one ever does online courses.

Tuition & Financial Aid: They have a habit of hiring teachers that shouldn't be teaching. It's one thing to have knowledge. Quite another to be able to pass it on effectively. Their curriculum isn't always in line with the course material and their software doesn't always work. Overall I was dissatisfied. It's a good place to go if you just need the degree, and not actually need to learn anything. Definitely not worth $50,000. For that price you're better off going to a real college.

Academic Experience: I am an IT student, its quite a bit of work, ant the programs interesting and all, but it wasn't my first choice.

Campus Resources: We don't really have any of those, we have a virtual library, and do all out work in a lab. So yea.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The pace, it is a very fast paced school. Both good and bad. Good because we can finish faster, bad because you have to pick things up pretty quickly.

Academic Experience: Everything at the school is good, and the classes I am taking are all awesome classes. Sometimes it gets hard, but no one said it was easy...

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education is well worth it, however I have not received as much as desired.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: So far, my experience with the faculty has been great.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Everyone is eager to learn to better their career.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very helpful we have been able to work with 1 counselor. Which i think should be the choice of the student if their is not problem to continue with the same counselor until they have complete their college.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: They are willing to work with students, with their life, college, etc.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: Most students have a job already lined up by graduation if not shortly thereafter.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Convenient school hours and classes that i am able to attend class in the evenings and have a part-time or full time job during the day.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process at Itt-Tech went by smooth and I got all the help I needed. They also always keep me informed about any payments, student loans, grants, and their disbursements. I do feel that For-Profit schools cost 3 times as much as a regular community college, but if I would have gone to a community college( and not have had the support of the ITT staff ) I might not have been able to do it on my own.

Career Services: The career service people also find you and introduce themselves and hand out there numbers and how to go get a hold of them. They've talked to us about what to expect when we get ready to graduate and gave us good advice about what not to do at a job interviews. They have job fairs and I was really surprised at how many employers they had there looking for employees in our field of study. They did a good job of getting a lot of employers to the job fair.

Online Courses: Computer Electronics Engineering Technology – I'm on campus but there are times when I need help with homework and the professors and or tutores are very helpfull online.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Computer Electronics Engineering Technology – The professors are great! They really love to teach and make sure you understand what they are teaching. Classes are small and hands-on training is the best way for me, to learn. Everything is up to date and the school helps out with everything to enroll, and they work around any work schedule which is convenient.

Campus Resources: Education for a High Price! The school is great, however they have a major problem bringing on teachers with the knowledge of the classes they teach, or the teachers will just quit. The lab work is where you get your education, but all this is at way to much of a price. This is school needs better attention to the teachers they hire and needs to drop the price a little bit. Other than that its great.

4 College Junior

Career Services: Up to Date – They have guest speaker come to the class to talk to the students. Job festivals dates are available in the career. Center they say they will help you find a job, but they will request you to do most the work.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Hands on – This all hands on experience. I have learned and used five time the information on computers that I never new.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Delay the Trip – This school is everything that it says on tv. They keep you career realistic with you and encourage you to pursue it. However they are mainly interested in getting you in school that second and not a minute later. I got enrolled in two days, but they didn't go throught all of the options that they would recommend as a person about to attend the school themselves. If I could do it again I would wait until I have made more money. It bleeds you wallet.
