2 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: If you miss class you miss everything. Many teachers don't understand that people work.

2 College Junior

Facilities: There is not anything great about this school. The community is very safe but the campus itself feels a bit scary at night. There and many older people who go here. Some teachers are wonderful while others are terrible!

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is so affordable and easy to complete. There are advisors that can walk you step-by-step through the process. I actually got a lot of money and an overage check which has helped me through my time of need for financial stability.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love the Trio program the most. They help me get to college and become interested in the medical field. Without them I probably wouldn't be in college. Also during the summer I took a sociology class. On the last day my teacher help me understand religion. To be at peace with it you just have to accept not knowing. This has help me be at peace.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: There is surprisingly a lot of diversity considering how small the college is. There are students from all over the US and ICC is also participating in a study abroad program. We currently have students from Denmark studying here and are sending student to Europe next semester as well!

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: When I first attended last semester I had a very non flexible work schedule, which ICC easily worked my classes around. This upcoming semester I am taking 12 credits that are arranged very conveniently to work with future job opportunities. And ICC is a part of the MnSCU system which makes transferring credits very easy.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The faculty at ICC is very unique. You can have a lot of one-on-one communication. I've become friends with some faculty members. Also, there are many places that are very comfortable hang out spots for students. And I've already mention the computer system I enjoy.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: It's a is very helpful while job searching. They have many work study opportunities and the faculty can assist you when finding work elsewhere. The Trio advisor, Ann, is allowing me to put her as a reference at Ground Round because she previously worked there.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The academic resources are wonderful! I've always had everything necessary for learning right on campus. There isn't much for athletics but, I'm not really an athlete so it doesn't really impact my experience at ICC.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I love the electronic system at ICC. It's very easy to use devises like the printer. There is a unique printer system at this college; when printing a document you can select a printer called "follow you" it allows you to work on any computer and print at any printer.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: So far I have not encountered a class I could not handle. The teachers are very patient and willing to do whatever it takes to further your education.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I thoroughly enjoy attending Itasca Community College. The small campus is easy to navigate and the faculty is very friendly. I feel like they are genuinely interested in my education.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: classes are pretty easy to choose and pick the ones you want

College Junior

Career Services: i've never had to go get help from the career services at ICC

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The library at ICC is great. They have a good selection of books, magazines, and the local papers, including the Duluth paper. There are many computers, study tables, tutoring, quiet rooms and access to online databases for research. The staff in the library is very friendly and ready to help.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Icc is a very comfortable school, and the professors are very helpful to the students.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: My school has a scholarship to the ymca that is very useful and helps keep people fit and stress free.

4 College Junior

Student Body: There is a combination of non tradional students and tradional students at ICC. Most of the non tradional students have jobs and families and makes school just a little harder.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The computer network alway's seems to be working, and if there is a problem itis fixed right away.

3 College Junior

Student Body: I have made new friends in both the classroom and in the baseball and basketball programs. I was sharing a dorm with my high school classmates and as our lives grow and differ, they are moving on to different living arrangements and life outside of college. My family has made a comment about me "being lonely" when they are leaving for home after attending a game (they don't live far awary). I am happy to tell them that I am not lonely, and that there are people around that I have made friends with and I have lot to do to keep me busy. My family is very satisfied with my experience so far at ICC.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I don't have any problem getting the classes I need and want. I have most resources available with the dorm in the same building as most of my classes. I stuggle with chemistry. The instructor is helpful and is somewhat available for help outside of class. Alot of this is because of my involvement in athletic, practice and games, and my work study schedule. This teaches me to set priorities and how to arrange a tight schedule.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: My major is engineering. The best feature is being in the dorm attached to the engineering department. It helps my group get together and work on projects. The workload is a lot, but fair. College is meant to have student work, learn, and be prepared for the work environment in the real world. Learning to work with others is a huge factor in a successful future.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I enjoy the small college atmosphere, not overwhelming like large college settings. It's easy to connect and make friends, easy to get together with classmates and work on projects. The financial aid process was not so bad with help from my mom. She helped me understand the importance of getting information in on time. I applied for a ICC scholarship but did not receive notice of acceptance or of being declined. The importance of watching deadline was a lesson learned because of the opportunity lost by a day and not being eligible for a large scholarship.

3 College Senior

Student Body: There are definitely more males than females, because of the popular engineering program. There's also very little racial diversity. The people tend to be sheltered when i comes to people of different backgrounds, races, and sexual orientations.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: I've heard some people complaining about the network but I've never had problems myself. The printing system is very convenient also. There are only computers available to you at all times if you live in the engineering dorms.
