3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library and computer lab is small. But I'm glad I don't have to pay to use the printer or copier for assignments.

3 College Junior

Career Services: Haven't worked with career services yet.

3 College Junior

Student Body: I don't know who is on the Student Body since I've only been attending for a couple months.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I get annoyed with having to do financial aid every 9 months. My income doesn't change that much but the staff is helpful and are usually on top of everything.

3 College Junior

Facilities: Because the school is so small the lunch area is tiny. There is no where for students to keep their lunches. The extra sewing and workroom is small but its nice the its open all day and usually there's only one or two students in their.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: The workload is a lot but the terms are so short that you get the classes over with and are still learning a substantial amount.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I was not happy at the Campus in Sacramento, CA but the transfer to Las Vegas was easy. I feel that the level of professionalism and education is right where I need to be to push myself and become a master of my craft.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I've really learned a lot in the first two terms that I've been at IADT-Henderson. The teachers make learning fun and interesting such as gen ed classes because when you go to a private school for a certain degree in Arts, the last thing you want to learn is math or science or politics.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Gen ed's are offered along with Fashion Design, Audio, Graphic Design, and Game design.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Transfered in from a different campus and absolutely love the Henderson campus. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the professors are amazing; they know their stuff! They are easy to approach and you can tell that they want their students to succeed and be successful in their careers. Very happy in made the choice to transfer there.

Student Body: My School has many different types of people with many having similar interest that you have so it makes it easy to talk to people and make friends who seek the something as you

Tuition & Financial Aid: The Financial aid here sucks they are always demanding money even if your a little behind they will hold you from attending class making you have to pay them more there unfriendly and useless it would be easier to talk to a computer or random stranger then to them I also feel the amount of money I pay is to much compared to the other course we pay a lot a get little out of it with sucky equipment that crashes once a week or not the class book for the course.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: This schools online courses had a very easy usage and is easy to talk to teachers and access course information once you know where everything is work is challenging depending on the class and is easy to manage

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: This school has many ups and down the school facilities are somewhat out of date and are school wireless is not so good when under load there are good testers the financial aid sucks other students are nice and fun to be around they have a game room to hang out when waiting for class.

Campus Resources: The library and computer labs are probably the main focus at my school. There is a career center available, but I am not sure how reliable they are. They could definitely improve on campus activities, a student center, and an athletic center (which they do not have).

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The wireless access can be tricky at times, but pretty reliable overall. Not to mention, there is almost always a free computer available at one of the labs throughout the day. Everything is pretty much solid.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Classes are not as flexible as they could be seeing as how the majority of classes are either available in the morning or night. However, the instructors are the best so it is well worth it as long as you can adjust your daily schedule. The only real concern that I had was the fact that some credits were not transferrable due to a minor difference of grade points.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: I am majoring in Audio Production and the school that I currently attend has far more resources than the school that I transferred from. We have a professional state of the art recording studio that students have almost complete access to. In my opinion, the instructors are the greatest since a majority of the work is being taught hands on. On top of it all, we are located right outside of Las Vegas and only a couple hours away from Los Angeles, CA. Therefore, the locations alone are full of opportunities depending on how well you apply yourself.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Most students (especially the one's that work at the school) are incredibly helpful. We also have plenty of opportunities to further our career and network. It's a really good place to go if you want to get involved with your school.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Everyone is really helpful, and resources are incredibly easy to access, which makes it easier to get homework done.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Being a student worker as well as a student at my school, I feel that the school has been very commendable about being flexible with my school and work schedule. I am at the school almost all week but I feel it's worth it to earn a paycheck and a degree.

Campus Resources: There are plenty of Mac computer labs with full versions of Pro Tools, Reason, Recycle, and Garage Band with Mbox audio interfaces attached that make learning about new audio techniques fun and relevant to the time. Internet is provided for research and advanced outboard gear is available per request. I appreciate being allowed to work on my projects with such good equipment!

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Some of the teachers had a serious lack in actual teaching experience. I understand that hiring teachers with industry experience can be seen as valuable but if the person has never taught a classroom it becomes apparent immediately when in class.

3 College Senior

Career Services: The Career Services team at my school is very helpful when it comes to preparing resume's/cover letters and portfolio's, but I feel like they could do a slightly better job helping the students find hiring employers.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: The courses you choose to take online are bit harder then normal classes. It has its advantages and disadvantages. First the classes are only 5 weeks instead of 10. So students tend to take 2 online classes in the time it takes to take 1 campus class. They work it by giving you i1 class for 5 weeks and then when its over you take the next online class for the next 5 weeks. Since the classes are shortened they give you tons of work to do and you constantly have to check into the online campus daily.
