Academic Flexibility: I have not has a reason to transfer my credits at this point of my school career.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: academic experience has been great. I have had moderate amounts of work loads. The students and professors are greatly involved in the lectures and labs.

Academic Experience: My experience in the classes I had have been great. I have completed half of my gen ed classes which where quite easy. It was a review of what I learned in high school. the work load is moderate and it keeps my skills sharp.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: the ban width is slow, and half of the computers are inoperable

Campus Resources: In my opinion, my school has been doing the bare minimum just to get students in and out of the program.

Student Body: The college is very diverse. Each student comes from a different place for a different reason and honestly there is no fault in progressing further.

Career Services: As of now while I am still in school the career center is already lining up jobs for me in the near future.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid staff could be more available to its students as well as more informative about financial status.

Academic Experience: Workload Worth the Headache – One semester I took one class at another school. This was an eye opening experience for me. I realized that while I had spent a year complaining about the workload at IDC I was actually far more advanced then students who were in a bachelorette program. You will fall asleep on your drafting table and go weeks living off coffee inorder to survive at this school. However you will learn something of value in every class. You will be challenged an you will be taken to your limits and you will feel ready to work in the feild....It wouldnt hurt them to stagger the the schedule a little so that all the exams and major projects arent all in the same week though.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Painful Process – If you need financial aid become aquainted with the fafsa and tap process before you enroll. As no one will help you they will only correct the mistakes youve already submitted online.over the past five years employment in the construction feild has taken a major hit. Because of that intrest in specialty schools like IDC has also declined. To make up for the lack of new students IDC has taken to charging current student rediculus wifi and library fees. That combined with the 400 dollar minnimum that your going to spend on books and materials a semester thats not covered by financial aid be prepared to take a major financial hit.For you own sake try to keep your gpa above a 2.0.

Overall Experience: Would Do It Again – Idc is complicated. There are alot of bad things to say about it. However the experience you gain from this school is invaluable. Its small size means everyone knows who you are and what you are capable of. The teachers have have all worked in the feild in one way or another and no one will cut you slack because you have you have a good excuse. You have to realize that in this feild you are playing with nothing less then peoples lives. No excuse will be good enough if a building collaspes. If you get past there egos that is the main message of all the teachers at this school and that is the reason I would choose this school again.

Student Body: You Will Always Have an Ally at This School – Idc is a one floor school the class size ranges from 7 to 15 students all at different stages of recieving there degrees. What the administration and teachers capability lack is made up for with the determination of your peers. No on judges at this school because we are all here for one reason and that is to do better in life without having to pay an arm and a leg. Age ethnicity, sexual preference, political and religious views are all void in this school. As long as your willing to do your fair share of work you will always find someone willing to help you. With that being said males make up 75% of the student and faculty body so females and gay males that are uncapable of taking a joke or believe school to be a social gathering are encouraged to take there studies elsewhere.
