Health & Safety: I don't know. I don't live on campus

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: Security at IWU is very high, since Marion can be a violent community. However, I would suggest turning off the locked side door system for the dorms because it is extremely inconvenient to not allow access after 7:00pm which is extremely early for college students, plus it is still near-impossible for pedestrians to enter without an ID card regardless. I would also HIGHLY suggest adding a key pad to the dorm entrances for students who have lost their ID card, misplaced it, or have a paper temporary replacement ID card, because that way they can enter their student ID number and NOT be locked out of their dorms, especially late at night.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: In all the colleges I have attended and or visited Indiana Wesleyan offers superb protection and safety for their students. The campus police are willing to help meet the needs of the students in any way shape or form. For example, I had a dead car battery and the campus police promptly met me and jumped my car battery. These little but convenient services are invaluable to any college student. I have never felt fearful while walking on campus. I have also left my car unlocked many times which goes to prove my feelings of trust and safety within the IWU community. The health clinic at IWU offers all the essential health care anyone would potentially need and offer great service, affordable, and take insurance as well.

College Senior

Health & Safety: This is a local campus without a health center. The main campus is located in Indiana.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: IWU is actually rated as the third safest campus in the country
